I'm fortunate to have been playing long enough to see this come around a second time...great job on the tunes!!! :) Happy New Years! I had to cancel my tour to Germany this year but my hope is to be out there when covid is done and maybe on a bill with you one day, before I'm dead.
some disc jockeys have just got it. they just got that thing. Folamour is absolutely one of those deejays. if you look closely, you can actually see snow melting around him....
I was 53 New Year’s Day as I grew up in the 70’s and 80’s in Bristol uk this was our thing parents being Jamaican always had funk and soul and reggae playing in my house omg black folks party back in the day 👌🏾on point the best days ever I’m still dancing to my funk jazz funk even now living in London oh Defo listening to Folamour
Damnnnn grooving to this amazing set every day. The kind of set you wanna see in real, but imagine in VR. And thanks for the energy, reminds me of one of the best nights of my life at Solaris this summer. Big love bro
Man I've been on a binge of all your sets, so good! Keep me grooving at work. Had to show my dad too he loves the funk. Hope to see you live one day and get down!
Yet more Folamour?! Thank you for blessing us with these masterpieces this past month! Mad respect for mixing a lot of impossibly hard to mix tracks man, I've been trying my best to figure out how you do it
He does have a unique style for mixing tunes such as these. I tried a few years ago mixing oldschool music and for the life of me I could nt figure it out, so I got back to electro funk and progressive trance as I already knew xD
Hard transitions, in and out of tunes in 16/32 beats, make sure the next tune is into a drop.. power of the selection. Thats how it can be done on vinyl with old school disco, funk etc.
