I can confirm that the DalProps 6" plastic ones do explode. I had a set on my Kolas6 and the studs that hold the prop on the hub sheared off when I went full throttle, was very dangerous. One of the props stuck in a wooden fence that I was flying next to, so they came off with some force like flying knife blades lol
Good to know there's some Freestylers in Italy! I take my 5" everytime I come visit Italy. Your country is so cinematic! I have an 8" bi-blade foldable tricopter but I rarely use it. Have hard time calibrating it and it's no so much for freestyle.
@@Rimzler just small 3” and 4” cheap AliExpress specials. They work well though. Fit in my pocket and do scouting when I’m hiking. I will likely get the Kolas 6”, and the Ummagawd folding 5” when it comes out, folding frame wise. I just have a lot of builds I still need to finish… I just got a few new frames this week, I can’t just keep buying frames :p I gotta catch up and build them.
@@Rimzler without modifications, no, but anything can be made to fit :p You also would have to de-case the O3 airunit and camera, I did it when I was still flying O3/G2 before getting rid of the system, it’s not difficult. The ones I have are ultra lightweight designs. One of them is on Avatar, the other on HDZero. Super light, and fit in my pocket.
@@Rimzler yep. Although they are 5", they have a really high pitch and lots of blades. The 2806.5 1300kv motors are perfect for this prop. You'll like them. Just dont do hardcore bashing. Perect for silent cruising. There's nothing a 7" can do, that a 5" can't 😆
Hi, recently I've tested the aura 7 with these Alu cnc fold props. I also have the o3 on it and wanted to see how much jello I would get. The hq 7x3.5x3 v1s are really good, silent, efficient and almost jello free. The cnc fold are not bad either, as you said, a bit louder. Maybe a bit more jello too. The worst props were my hair 7x4x3 - they gave me a lot of jello. The fold 7inch copter looks very nice. Do you think they need an review from an Austrian guy? ;)
@@Rimzler do you mean betaflight stock pid tune or the bnf pid? i lost my bnf pid after update the betaflight firmware 🥲 totally forgot to save the cli dump
Yah That drone def needs a bit of tuning... 😅Glad you like the metal hubs though! I think I'll have to get a set of them to try out now! But yeah as I said in your last vid my plastic 7" DAL's were unbalanced to the point where I could easily see the shafts on the rear motors vibrating when hovering... How's the GoPro footage compare with these 3 props? The plastic DAL's were just a mess of jello for me...
Yeah the drone needs tuning for sure, think i will settle with the metal hubs, they sound much cleaner and fly better than plastic for sure, not tried carrying a GoPro yet but should have no issue
