Folder is a system developed to allow complete access to
the internal space of both conventional and corner cabinets
and, at the same time, to minimise the space taken up by
the cabinet doors when they are fully open.
Folder is a combination of hinged doors with a sliding
system. The system is suitable for cabinets from 700 to
1500 mm in width. When opened, the two doors fold and
overlap each other until they automatically reach the point
of maximum opening. This frees the cabinet interior from
any obstruction and allows the unencumbered opening of
full-width internal drawers without the use of spacers.
The closing action is extremely smooth and controlled with
a gently decelerated movement.
The Folder system can be fixed either on the top or on the
base panel of the cabinet, a feature that makes it even more
versatile and functional.
When applied to the top, the extremely small size of only
35 mm makes the system particularly suitable also for wall
recess applications.
Folder can be used in a host of applications wherever
you want to take advantage of the 100% access conferred
by a 180° opening hinge. As with all Salice products, Folder
is characterised by exceptional reliability, well-developed
functionality and pleasing aesthetics.
