What is Beej Mantra? Well the third part of our journey was about discovering it.
Ego is like a thick shell… impenetrable. And then the Beej Mantra whacks hard on this thick shell… Personality…. Me-Myself-I…Acquired traits which we confuse for character…. And we involuntarily wake up to the Truth about our True self.
In Mystic Tradition it may be the stout stick of the Zen Master…. One solid whack on the head and our true Joyous Being comes pouring out…. : )
And a Music rises which is all Around…. Our own imperishable Universal Song.
Ratnakar a robber and bandit killed for money. Then came Sage Narada and he felt that solid whack… But he needed a Beej Mantra… Something to quieten his violent mind…. Years of killing, The only word he could say was “Mara Mara Mara…” Narada said good enough, just go on saying it…And “Mara Mara Mara” became “Rama Rama Rama…” And Ratnakar became Valmiki…
Rama became his Beej Mantra…. a Psychological state to Aspire to…That is why Rama has always been about “Manas”. : )
Pritam Singh ji understood the power of the Beej Mantra of Rama. As well as he understood the mystic power of Kabir…
This hard working farmer fed our entire unit…. Sat with us in in his ripening Wheat Field and sang Kabir to us… Not what Kabir wrote or is recorded… But Pritam Singh ji’s Own understanding of Life pouring joyously in the Bhajan…. But interesting.... : ) No Ego… No My own creation…. But an offering at the feet of the Awakened One.
It Woke us up… Hope it does the same to you….
