July 4, 1976, Entebbe, Uganda - Led by Lieutenant Colonel Yonatan Netanyahu, crack Israeli commandos burst inside a non-descript airline terminal, killing stunned terrorists and evacuating 103 hostages. A lone shot sounds in the night, and Yonatan Netanyahu, brother of current Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, lay dead. Follow Me is an intimate story that penetrates the tough exterior of the only soldier killed in Entebbe. Using Yonatan's own poetry, letters and prose, the film delves into the mind of this reluctant young hero, where duty to family and country, love, turmoil, and doubt over the core value of war raged. Yonatan's words are made deeply moving by his honest introspection and heartfelt passion. Yoni Netanyahu was a true hero. And his memory is a blessing. So much so that I cannot believe that this video has got 52 down votes. In fact, it doesn't merit even one negative vote. I can only hope that those that down voted did so in error. If not, then they truly represent the lowest form of humanity.

This is a story of pride, heroism and loyalty. The people of Israel have lived their entire lives surrounded by people who question their ability to exist as basic human life. The government must never let the world question thier commitment to its people.

You know, war? Soldiers? Fight each other, on opposite sides? The UGANDAN soldiers were the enemy soldiers you idiot. I think the fool is unaware that the Ugandan soldiers under Idi Amin were working with the terrorists and were hence terrorists soldiers assigned to prevent the hostages from leaving there alive. The mission was to extract the innocent civilian hostages not their hijackers and accomplices.

The timing of the film is very interesting. It was made and released during Netanyahu's rule, will boost his popularity for sure. And also there is an information campaign of making the world ignore all the negative actions and policies of Israel being led World Jewish Congress or something, so this film might be part of it. This historic event is very dramatic, but it's a shame that Israel's policies make anything of this sort look like whitewashing of its crimes.

Read The Haj by Leon Uris. And ask these questions: What year did the nation of Palestine come into existance? What were its national borders and what year did it cease to exist? What currency did the nation of Palestine use and why is there no history of it? Name one leader to the “nation of Palestine” prior to Yasser Arafat.

There are so many things which occur in life to which we are incapable of protecting ourselves from those who purposeful purport their evil upon us. I know I am proud of the success of this operation because we fought back in action and won. And I bet all of the hostages all would have been willing to die in action rather than live in cowardice of frozen wishfull imaginative non reality thinking. Thank you men of action, which ever human spirit you are born too. Represent our love of our freedom. Thank you for allowing us as humans to know , we do not need to be victims, never again. Never again victims. Its starts by one action and as a nation this is one you can be proud of for ever. No doubts. Good for Israel.

Does anyone know the name of the sound track at the end of the movie I would like a copy of it. I enjoyed the film and have respect for the Lives of the brave men that were risked and given unselfishly for others. I can see by some of the comments people with hate in there hearts .Hate will breed hate and people will die in hate. It doesn't take any courage to Hate someone but it takes courage to forgive them. Try it sometime it may do you good before you die.

Yonatan Netanyahu was a real hero ,he sacrificed himself in the war of 1971 known As Uganda war and saved 26 israileis who were trapped under the guide of et amin who was the Military officer and President of Uganda and very cruel leader at that time so for the bravery and intelligence he is great 👍👍🙏🙏
