Nice one, Olaf. As you say, this can apply to any goals. Gratitude is key along with taking baby steps towards your goal(s) but without worrying about the cursed hows. Remembering that 'whatever we put out there, we get back'. I call it the boomerang effect.
Hey olaf, i love your videos, and i've been watching for over 2 years now, recently i was thinking about becoming a violinmaker, and unfortunately, all schools that offer violinmaking classes are out of my range, so how would i make my dream come true, and become one?
All I would add is to say that the effort involved in reaching your goal will forever change your attitude to the goal itself. Life is about perspective and we evovle along the journey towards our dreams.
@@wakingtheworld I don't remember the exact episode, but he admitted to making it up on the spot. I love it! If I find it, I'll try to link it for you.
Hi Olaf, I'm just gonna shoot my shot here but I wanna ask you for your personal opinion: I want to get into violin playing - I actually did have Suzuki School violin lessons at age 14 but I quit - but I really want to have a high quality top shelf violin for me to play. I really don't want the mass-produced Chinese ones that are flooding the market now and I want to ask you *what's an absolute best quality violin that I can use?* I really don't mind paying big bucks - I want a violin that's actually handmade and handcrafted and can please you, Itzhak Perlman, and the ghost of Yehudi Menuhin 😅 So I await your response. Thank you and have a good day!
Hello River, It might be better to email me directly, because the answer is different for everyone. I absolutely understand where you are coming from, the kind of music you like and the kind of sound you want to produce on your violin... olafgrawertviolinstudio.com/contact/
