Finally had some time to compare the different sounds of the two mufflers. Since this video I have kept the modded muffler on the bike and I do like the change in sound. Not so much of a tone difference but rather more “growl”.
I’ve considered it and still might. It just hasn’t been really high on my radar because it’s only gonna help the sound idle. As soon as you’re on throttle the flappers open.
@@rosskapron3634 thats not strictly true euro 6 sound rules means our bikes must pass a sound test from idle to 4k so your flapper is partially closed upto 4k my bike is already barking better when i blip throttle checkout my video of how i fitted it and the result
Hi Ross, I did mine last week. And worked perfectly. I used a 40mm and get a better sound out of the exhaust. Still original but with better sound without getting issues with the cops. 😉thanks
