Silver Lake is man-made, but it's been around almost as long as Bristol. Late 1600s, I think.

WoW, when I was a kid, my father purchased a home by Silver Lake Park to fix up and resell. I used to go to Silver Lake Park to feed the ducks bread and ride my bike. Then my father and I would love to go to the old Flannery's Restaurant, the restaurant in an airplane.

I like Bristol over on riverside near Kings George's inn resturaunt. Interesting area. Went there for dinner. It's got a long history it's supposed to be haunted.

I grew up near this area.. and as a kid we would ride our bikes to Silver Lake..I can remember where that waterfalls is, we would get in the water where it dumps into that stream.. and catch crayfish under those rocks... Thanks for your Scoots !!! Particularly love your historical tidbits...

I was there a while back. There are woods on the other side of Bath Rd and there are the ruins of a munitions building in there. (Not much left, just the foundation) but still cool.

Ollie's used to be a Super Fresh. There was an Aaron's store in that part of the strip. The Golden Eagle Diner isn't there anymore, or did the owners just change the look of the building?
