as a returning player, not having played in 2 years, I struggled with the followers in the first 2 dungeons. they constantly walk over whelps, AOE like crazy and pull agro and are unable to activate the balista. i'd rather take my chances with LFG. but i hope they keep refining the AI, i like the idea of it.
I agree with you mate. They are rather horrible on pathing and very bad leaders... But if you were new and desperate as a completely green alt that needs that Normal gear? I guess they have a purpose
I am enjoying taking my alts through these. But if I were a low geared, new starter, I think, as you rightly say, it would be tough going due to them pulling every mob in sight. The healer leaping about is mesmerizing. But, with all that said I am having fun, and it is nice not to be speed running, just chilling out and enjoying the artwork and views. :) (edited for errors, bad, bad speller)
Started the followers on a Blood Dk at lvl 60 with gear score around 200 and it was too easy. I ran a half dozen or so now on two low 60 alts and did a couple Follower dungeons with my wife and they were as pointless as they were boring. I don't understand the point of these. No XP. Actually the XP is insultingly low and no gear drops. I can pug a normal dungeon, and suck, and almost still definitely get through it with actual effing XP and loot so I ask again what are the point of these time wasters?
The point is as what I've said in the video - target niche trinkets and other items you won't have from WQ and anywhere else. Reach ilevel required for LFR easier or as a person who prefers solo to social contact. Not everyone is like you. That's the point.
