My husband and I are fairly crafty… he’s largely at home in Lowes, DIY’s every job possible, and enjoys building subwoofer boxes from scratch as a hobby. I’m a teacher’s kid, which implies a certain affinity for art and school supplies. I knit recreationally, and love helping with a good renovation. But we ABSOLUTELY would and could do no better than Saf and Ty. They are serving craft realness, and I’m here for it; the disembodied hands in all those videos are lying to us 😂
I know it sounds odd but you can touch a small vibrating object to the outside of the bowl to help the bubbles rise to the top so you can spray and pop them, works for soap and resin
Saf, Tyler, in addition to letting them sit longer I'm also wondering if it would have been a good idea to pour a little of the clear into the mold first and then lay the succulents in in order to avoid any air pockets? Either way I think they came out amazing!
I hate to be that person but I'm going to be that person...I would like it noted in Saf history that I suggested Succulent Joan as the name for the succulent soaps in the lush soap video 6 months ago. It's the only time in my life that I've made a pun that worked 😂🌵
Fun marzipan fact: it used to be something you baked. And it's still baked, into a stacked ring cake, in Denmark and Norway. And it's delicious to the point that I have covered my entire kitchen in sugar and egg white in pursuit of getting me some sweet, marzipanny crunch after I left Scandinavia. (The baking time is chocolate chip cookie territory if you bake them into just lady finger shapes)
One of my close friends passed away unexpectedly and i just got the call a few hours ago. She was young and was looking forward to the next chapter of her life. These past few hours I havent been able to do anything but cry and scream and stare into space. I tried watching a few videos but couldn’t until i started this one
To clean candle residue I just pour boiling kettle water and leave for a minute. I do this for finished candles so I can reuse the glass pots and works cleanly and perfectly :)
I LOVE those kinds of streams when there's something creative that is most appreciated with eyes yay ☺️👏 I like others too, but if it's a food stream I just can't taste it or smell it and I get hungry 😂
Double check with Ann Marie on the specific MP formula but in general MP benefits from a light spritz of rubbing alcohol between layers. So spritz the soap (use a small spray bottle filled with 70% or 90% rubbing alcohol) then pour the next layer and you should get better contact & less bubbles. Also tap the mold or jiggle it on the counter after second pour. It's easier to do this by having the silicone mold in a wood or plastic tray.
I much prefer watching now that the chat is behind the camera, it felt like Saf and Ty were getting a lot of backseat drivers and even some rude hate comments and it was really affecting the vibe of the stream
SAME I'm rewatching a lot of their old streams as background sound, and all of a sudden hearing Tyler talk about the franken-Sephora and Brucie colors as nail polish colors, it was surreal lol.

I'm with Carly- pickles are gross. I especially hate it when I order a sandwich or a burger at a restaurant and they put a pickle on the plate- it makes the sandwich/fries all soggy and gives them that gross pickle taste! (luckily, my mom is an extreme pickle lover, so it all works out aside from the sogginess)
I don't know what made them so confused I had to go nondairy for 3 years because of my TBI so I'd always go with vegan cheese and butter options but I still ate meat. You don't always eat vegan things because you're vegan sometimes you just don't do dairy or like the way they taste. Personally, there's this one flavor of cupcake at scratch (I can't remember which one I wanna say it's something like wedding cake maybe.) that I think tastes way better as a vegan cupcake than a regular cupcake.
