I'm 39 too. I remember living with my Mam and Dad when this came out and laughing uncontrollably at it - they asked what on earth I was watching, I told them, then they watched it and loved it too! Kay an Novak is absolutely brilliant. He's fantastic in What We Do in the Shadows too.
The Brian Bedonde (spelling) sketch continues to be in the top three funniest things I've seen or heard in 41 years. It's brilliant when something reduces you to tears of laughter
I read somewhere, I'll try and find the link if you want that this was the reason he didn't re-sign for a continuous contract and instead went on to do Facejacker instead. There may be more companies available that he hasn't called but it will still be on tv and people will still recognise the calls if he's continuously using the same characters. And he makes hundreds of calls per episode, we only see the few best which were selected, it would be hard to keep track of which numbers have been called and which haven't.
The lady at 5:32 has such a beautiful voice. It's warm, kind, gentle and soothing all at once. She could read anything and she would reduce anybody's blood pressure and send people to sleep. And she seems to be such a nice person too.
Compare her voice and accent to the cringey roadman stuff kids are coming out with now. Whilst things like technology certainly improve over time, I guess it isn't always the case that everything else does.
Kayvon Norvak is sooooo bloody funny! Isn’t he Iranian/part Iranian? I went to school with an Iranian and he was hilariously funny! So was Siavash from Big Brother - excellent sense of humour! Not forgetting Kian I used to work with who was half Iranian and would have me debilitated with laughter 😂😂😂😂
It used to be a common way middle class English ladies spoke 50 years ago with good elocution. Today the dumbing down of the past two or three generations is English is not spoken properly or clearly. Nah wot I mean, innit.
15:50 The song is West End Girls by Pet Shop Boys lol. Brilliant how he created a new language to sing it which sounded like Russian and some Middle Eastern or Eastern European language fused together. But the chorus line was clear enough for most music buffs to know that instantly as the 80's classic.
@Luke McMahon no contest bro, trigger happy was kids entertainment at best, odd funny bit like, but my man's voices are on par,, terry tibbs...say no more shall we..,😅👏👏
I remember being around 9, and seeing Misfits, Skins, BoSelecta, Fonejacker and ofc The Inbetweeners ALL across Channel 4 and E4! Great content back then. Basically the UKs version of prime USA MTV days.
Yrrah V im black and this was one of my favs. are u sure its not stuck up easily offended, i dont care who i offend, life has to be about me, whites who had it taken down?
The estate agent 😂😂😂 the woman in the straw hat having an affair 🤣🤣🤣 every sketch in fact is hilarious, I have never seen this before and I'm double glad I did. I sat there crying in hysterics
one of the best, most genuinely funny shows ever, period. The sort of thing you can re-watch aswell without the jokes getting old after the first time.
Ahh the pre-youtube days. I used to stay up to tape these episodes and watch them every day after school. I would be in tears laughing every time, and me and the mates would act out the pranks at school. Good times!
I was fortunate enough to grow up and watch such innovators such as Kayan Novak, who created fonejacker, Dom Joly, who did Trigger Happy TV, and, of course Ali G!! Great stuff!!
Love how many voice he could do, used to be very entertained by this show when it was on tv back then but its nice to see him doing what we do in the shadows. now.
@@kickedinthecalfbyacow7549 Lol I mean what I mean. Ur original comment seemed to make fun of OP for mentioning how trash most TV is. And most TV is straight trash
Laughed so hard that I couldn't breathe, had to pause to gasp for air. I really didn't see that one coming, no sugar coating their, just brutally hones. Hillarious.
@@smashb3766 Oh you Americans have 'sitcoms' with canned laughter and the antithesis of humour and we're cringe/goofy? Watching an American sitcom for two minutes makes me want to smash my forehead into the wall
I think JaFool (Jafoulé) was one of the most underrated charecters he ever did. I remember the first time I watched the episode where he makes a table reservation at Osteria Basilico when it aired and when he started rapping and beatboxing bis name I creased over in tears... Especially the "RonaTO! I wanna tomaTO! And I wannit' FRESH!" Although I loved Donald Donaldson and he's one of my favourite characters, I wish he would have done an Ali G-esque JaFool instead on Facejacker. That would have made my year!
First time I have ever seen this and I was just cracking up with laughter. This guy is a genius with all the different voices he should be on mainstream TV. The Bentley sales guy was hilarious.😝🤪😝😅😂
This is one of the if not, THE funniest thing's i've seen on TV for years... The convincing way that he does his accents & characters is second to none....
