few things I'm speculating where Natlan AQ will revolve or its could-be themes (1) *Desires* (they could go a bit cryptic about this just like how Mage "N" was with the word, "fate" as a theme of Fontaine AQ: the prophecy) (2) *Memories of Past and Future* (although this was already presented in Mondstadt: History between Dvalin and Venti, and in Inazuma: Raiden Story Arc, I am still expecting a sort of this theme to be explored due to potential resurrection of dead entities) (3) *Resurrection* (most probable due to the title of Natlan arc in the Travail Trailer) (4) *Power* (Natlan could have the first AQ plotline where a lot of time we will punch somebody in the face or the traveller will be powerless most of the time + the official confirmation about the presence of the 1st Harbinger in Natlan) (5) *Deception* (In the nation of war, who could say you can't use your wits to outsmart an enemy who is all about brawns?)
@@BadassHatdog Thats an impressive analysis, imo till now we always had that hidden plot to find or secrets so im guessing more for point 4 "Power" as you said since it will be about war, maybe we will have to engage to a lord of the rings style war with endless enemies or something like that but dunno, damn i really wanna play another archon quest right away this game its too good.
with so many cutscene and 30min of furina and focalor backstory it will for sure be emotional. imagine if we see nahida inner thought and suffering play out in 500 years like furina did. oh boy, will we hate the sage even more. shame that nahida backstory is mostly shown outside the game. imagine seeing how the sage found and treated her in 3d cutscene form. it would have been so emotional.
@@Yen-jw1lsI mean we had, it's just that there was not much to show so it was only a monologue of Nahida + rukkhadevata and traveler speaking in the ends
Hearing Arnold say "All hail Barbatos" lit a light in my head, Venti being the God of Freedom is just poetic in a sense that each nation had a concept of freedom, Zhongli freed himself of being an archon after thousands of years, Ei freed herself from eternity, we freed Nahida from the sages, and now Furina is free from her "curse". I wonder what kind of freedom will play out in Natlan and Snezhnaya once we reach them. Mondstadt and Venti will be playing a big role in the future especially Venti, he has no second story quest yet and when he does its going to be a huge lore bomb.
Some theory say venti become an archon due to a plan of someone else From several edvidence, we know he have a connection with god of time who helped makoto grow the god tree
@@vietcuongnguyenle8530 it might be so but venti becoming an archon is a mutual decision from Andrius who was a defaulted winner after Decarabian died. Unless it was God of Time's plan to release Venti and have him wonder in the old mondstadt and meet the nameless bard. Either way, if its really planned, I have my knife out for that person who knows the bard will die but never told Venti (for the additional trauma)
@@antelopeishere if who made this plan understand andrius personality It not hard to know he will refuse archon posittion, andrius not like and not understand human, he will not take a posittion require him rule human
@@vietcuongnguyenle8530 that too. As if everything in Teyvat is just a huge stage with an already finished script to play. The archon war is just one of the ploy and the events after that catastrophe are just things created for the eventual end where the Traveller is needed. Teyvat will reject the beings beyond the stars but why is the Traveller and even the Narwhall are inside? I've seen someone theorized that the All-Devouring-Narwhall was in Teyvat to fulfill the prophecy for Fortaine, I dont think there's not much difference on the Traveller being trapped in Teyvat by the Unknown God... unless someone planned it all along, a time where Traveller is needed to fulfill his/her role.
Apparently the words under Venti's statue in Mondstadt translates into "Gateway of Celestia". Not sure if this is %100 true but the fact that Venti has no 2nd story quest yet probably proves it.
That “You did it, Furina! You did it!” that Ennie screamed at the end had me bawling because that was what exactly what I was *screaming in my mind* when I did that quest myself
@@Shibu_069 True, he was a crucial part of Focalors plan too- yet he still continues being the Chief Justice of Fontaine despite being decieved by her, and he is the current power-source of all Fontaine’s technology and electricity. Hes beginning to understand humanity, the more he is surrounded by them.
@@hypetrail well agreed but, focalors never deceived neuvillete.. her only plan was to deceive celestia and I don’t think that “not telling her plan to furina and neuvi” is considered as deceiving
@@Shibu_069 Right but still Neuvillette thought Furina was Focalors, they decieved him and everyone in Fontaine. It was necessary for Focalors’ plan but in reality it was all an act. For 500 years Neuv and the people of fontaine believed Furina was a God, but the real God was inside the Oratrice. Furina wasn’t told much how Focalors would handle the prophecy, as Focalors says herself she needed to decieve herself (Furina) in order to decieve everyone else. Decieve isn’t necessarily the correct word when we figure out the full context, Focalors’ plan. She gathered 500 years worth of Indemn behind the scenes while Furina pretended to be a God in front of the stage, fooling everyone. Including Neuvillette and the heavenly principles.
This ain't even an exaggeration. I've seen many shows, movies and played lots of story games that people consider peak fiction. But only a few of them ever made me cry. This being one of them Someone needs to make like a 1 hour analysis of this scene and everything that leads up to it
One slip and she could ruin these whole plan and the people of Fontaine will not be saved. Her strong will and selflessness to the point of breaking to save the people of Fontaine is truly worthy of praise even if she is an archon or not. She's a true archon who love her people.
@@zurieldred4101 I really love Zhongli's line about her. "Though her divinity has vanished and the throne of the Archon is no more, Furina will go down in Fontaine's history as a God of Justice worthy of recognition." With or without divinity, she is a God of Justice.
I hope someone does a mashup of our battle in court with furina and her mental break as she cries. It was just a great moment for the players and the character.
As much as i want to, but i can’t. It needs proper syncronization as it is not a rendered cutscene. But an ingame cutscene where a player can control how fast can they skip or play the game, so it would be hard for me to sync each content creator as each one of them has different phase on progressing through, there are alot of ingame cutscenes that i really want to create a mashup not just this.
@GenshinImpactReactionVideos My bad if what I said came off as a request. It wasn't my intention. I said what I said because there is another youtuber who made a mashup of our encounter with the Doctor and Nahida a while back, and I thought it would be cool to see more of those. I understand the difficulty of that, as you stated.
@@KalaGames347 That mashup creator is probably Forest Lee. (Who made the doctor and nahida convo reaction) Perhaps you can wait for his content about that since he's back now. Nevertheless, GIRV's mashup deserve more praise. It's not really easy to mashup these things even if someone did what you requested.
I've watched THAT cutscene multiple times by now but I still can't help but cry🥲 from the farewell to the execution to the emotional Neuvillette to human Furina.. that one scene has too many cry-points
3:18 everyone suddenly dead quiet.... And in this one 5:31 everyone actually reading the texts... "masquerade of the guilty" not only deceive Celestia but all of the genshin players 😂🎉❤
Remember Chlothar? That mf lost his marbles after just 100 years. The sheer mental fortitude, resolve and determination Furina had to keep going, even after 500 years of pain, suffering, and loneliness, even after everyone is forcing her to cough up is mind boggling.
I love that everyone collectively in the final cutscene (even people in chat) tell Furina that she did it, she's free. Like we all want her to know that her efforts were not in vain and the people are saved. It's so crazy how we all feel the same towards this single character who did such a 180 on this community. Whether you hated her or loved her, we all stand together now to support and cheer for her.
@@TimNewmanGamingI feel like everyone said that when Sumeru's full quest came out. And here we are, with something that topped that perfection. I really hope this upwards trend keeps going.
@@soul_sticks2755 lol ngl i fucking hated sumeru's story, loved nahida as a character tho, but hated the quest, then sumeru as a whole just made me quit genshin, but then fontaine came and just snatched my pp away, dude the exploration and archon quest in fontaine is just fucking masterful. like i think in terms of archon quests i go 1) fontaine, 2) liyue 3) sumeru 4) inazuma and 5) monsdat
@@wengjianng6427 I agree because i also dropped the game during Sumeru and returned in 4.1. I only liked the parts that The Doctor appeared, this character is the peak villain of design and EN voice. Most of my reasons is the burnout, keep playing every day makes the game tedious. Glad that they added the daily mission point system, so i never need to do that repetitive shit again (but still isn't enough, resin cap being 160 is so annoying, we need at least 360).
i have never been very sympathetic over a character since nahida.. the writing over furina's story is phenomenal i literally cried and everyone in this video being so proud of furina when the waters receded is so wonderful.. furina is the best written character in the entirety of genshin indeed and im so excited for natlan because we know how hoyo is outdoing archon quest after archon quest
@@Phoenix24433Ikr, this is so big because it's the first time we're witnessing an act that really against the Celestia, we're literally looking at one of the most powerful being in Teyvat regained his power to fight back, it will shifts the story for the future. And for what Fontainians' fear of their fates, for what Furina has been endured, and Focalors sacrifice, Celestia really fkd almost everyone. That's what made this scene with Neuvillette really great for me. AND the music omg.
Best Archon Quest to date. Hoyo cooked so good. And the VA's did a phenomenal job, you can really sense the emotions with Navia's loss, Neuvillette's pain and Furina's suffering. 10/10 AQ.
Rewatching this again, I gotta props to Genshin Mashup Reactions for balancing the audio among the streamers. As much as people like to hate on Murderofbirds, he's actually tuned down here, and the people above and below (sometimes) him are louder lol The only critique I have is that you coincidentally put the more silent reactors in one side, and the talkers on the other, so theres an imbalance of voices in most of the video.
I've watched these cutscenes so many times and of all times now I decide to choke back tears. I think this archon quest was just perfect. I definitely think it's brought back some of the hype genshin had lost in a while
Coming back to this mashup again from time to time to relieve the emotions I feel at Focalors' execution The sole downside being getting my ears pierced by that one reaction on middle upper right everytime. Goddamnit.
Archon quest finales are getting better and better. Furina´s character development and the narrative that was used to tell us how hard the process was for her, was just amazing.
I'm so so happy to see how much Hyv's story writing has improved. I'd been looking forward to fontaine ever since i started playing and I'm extremely glad that, not only did it not disappoint, but it also surpassed every single one of my expectations
I don't blame them she was the one who cursed Furina to begin with. If you want to blame a character for this mess of a prophecy its either Egeria or Celestia. When I first saw it after Furina's 500 years flashback I'm feeling conflicted on Focalor's death rather than being sad or nothing. Besides she appeared in recently, not enough to develop any lingering attachment, especially from what she did to Furina (Even though it was a plan with good intention, the pain was too much to witness.) *{This is my opinion}*
I think they were impressed with how it was presented, she wasn’t scared of dying and actually started dancing and when the music came in it was just a beautiful sight. I don’t think they were happy that she was dying, but at how excellent they presented everything.
They admire her bravery. Focalors is very brave to say that she had afraid of death like a human being. But even so, she still danced beautifully in front of the hydro dragon ... The victim of her plans, the one who was influenced by her to learn to love humans, the one who was she justly given back his power. For the first and last time... I couldn't get Focalors's words out of my head. It was as if she were truly the mother who taught Neuvillette the human way of life that she believed in.
I hate clicking this reaction video! I'm done crying weeks ago. But with them reacting to video made me more to feel emotional compared to how I felt when I'm doing the archon quest alone in my room😅 Specially on every Furina part
When everyone read the last farewell from Focalors to Furina, yo me i just imagined all of the dissolved people and Focalors thanking Furina and expressing how they want her to be free
5:30 shit man 😢 Everyone reading it in unison really makes the emotions well up. Also shout out to the fella in the top left corner who just spent half the video quietly weeping lol he just like me fr fr
