I know Genshin was a 3D game before, but the freedom of 3D movement underwater is going to give my brain a ton to keep track of when I'm looking for hydroculus.

Lyney’s kit is so cute in CN 😂❤ “mao” by itself means “cat”, but it’s also used for the terms “tricky/something fishy” and “hide & seek”. then “mao” as an intonation can also mean hat. So in CN, both Grin-Malkin Hat & Grin-Malkin Cat are pronounced “mao mao mao” - also the CN version of “meow” lol

To be honest, I really don’t feel like Childe is giving death flags right now. I mean, I hope he doesn’t die at all, but if he had to, I would expect either Snezhnaya with a big emotional moment where he saves his brother or something. Not…Fontaine of all places.

I'm honestly glad we get one Fontainian for free. If the Pneuma/Ousia mechanic has a significant effect in combat against Meka enemies, there's a good chance it'll show up in the Abyss as well.

For those who don't know, the reason why Lynne's skill names are confusing is because the Chinese is literally Cat-cat-hat and Hat-hat-cat. Like, and in Chinese those words for hat and cat not only rhymes it also sound similar af. Its a damn toung twister.

I have been saving for Fontaine ever since 1.2 bassically (after I got Ganyu) I have been only wishing for characters I really really wanted. (Kokomi, Alhaitham, Yoimiya - examples) and I managed to save 107k primogems as a F2P and being a bow enthusiast I am gonna get ruined during Lyney's and Yelan's weapon banner. :') (I don't have Aqua Simulacra and never wished on weapon banner) I am really excited it's finally here tho!!

ngl i'd love to watch a 2 hour video in which bran goes through the entire stream again and picks out interesting parts to analyse them more while also looking at the new version preview page (bc that shows the artifact effects for example). i just love watching him discover things on his own, he exudes so much joy!

I started playing in 2.0, can't believe it's been two full versions already. I remember the sheer amount of excitement I had when Sumeru was finally released. Can't wait to have that feeling again when exploring the first bits of Fontaine.

This makes me think that if mondstadt had been added later in the game instead of the beginning, there would be a bunch of locations in the sky to explore to support it being the nation of anemo. Kinda sad we miss out on that 😔

there are few good innovation in 4.0 patch - 1. beautiful underwater area and diving/swimming underwater without oxygen needed, but they could explain it by giving us some tool to breath freely underwater but they just dont give oxygen bar, like all characters are aqua-man and can breath underwater (fuck logic but good thing is that we dont need to climb or looking for spider-man hooking points), 2. layered map (finally they gave us, its was so long flustrating exploring caves), 3. new weapons in battlepass,

One thing i noticed is that they showed lynette getting in the water cube and even talked about them in the program but they aren't even there in 4.0 they are outside the actual limits of the map
