While in the Oisans area this is one of the easiest and most enjoyable walks you can do.
A moderate altitude gain makes it doable for just about anyone. The part towards the cascade is steep though.
The location of the Sentier des Ardoisières above the Lac du Chambon is spectacular and has its vertiginous moments. But nothing extreme here.
It is very nice to enjoy a drink or meal on the terrace of Refuge des Clots, at the base of the waterfall.
