Yes Nahida’s and Raiden story is indeed extremely saddening but it’s really how different people differently perceive it, in my own experience I felt related with Furina feeling a lot of things she was feeling I was able to express more emotions for her! Maybe that’s why I kin her lol

i half disagree? i agree with the nahida part but for raiden, she did this on purpose and as a god, she can't properly suffer from the emotional torture and the point in which it would drive anyone insane. humans aren't meant to thrive in isolation. gods kind of have a bypass against that but for nahida? 💀 thats GONE. well, not anymore but it literally takes bullying the damn archon into depression, chaining that girl up, and then continuing on with bullying and taunting her starting from birth and into all of eternity, even creating an education system based off of bullying the archon and worshipping anything but the archon. im just wondering how raiden also got the term "eternity" from "my family and friends died". the main reason why her sister died is because she didn't want ei to go to war so how the hell did she pick that out the box? archon recommendations???? 💀

@@thatonemelody I think she already had "eternity" as her ideal (because of her sister probably?) but she chose that way of implementing eternity (stopping everything) it makes sense : if nothing changes, it becomes eternal because its state *cannot* change. What Ei wanted was the world (well her region) to stop changing so that it wouldn't fall and die like her close ones (and Khaenri'ah). Also while Raiden is a god, why shouldn't she be able to feel emotional torture ? She *lost her sister and her friends*. Of course she is a god so it's not the same as a human (or Furina for example) but Ei was still isolated for a long time too. Both of Nahida's and Ei's story are sad, actually so far all of the archon's story are sad, they're just not on the same scale. Ei lost all her loved ones and closed herself from the outside world, Nahida was chained up and used and forgotten by her people, Venti had also allies and friends die and is still grieving, Zhongli lost friends too all while trying to protect his people. Honestly tho it's sure that some stories do make us feel less sad because we didn't directly see the story happening, or because how it was executed in game
