Everything about Fontaines DC is deadly. I love the way each time you listen it's little subtle things you notice, love their Irishness & involve Gaelige in their words. Look up what Grian's name in Irish, it means valleys of the sun! Every album is different & they work hard. They've covered Nick Drake's Cello Song, Whipping Boy's song Twinkle of the album 'Heartworm' which is a great Dublin band that didn't get the recognition they deserved. Breeze a fresh air & just what a lot of us where looking for. Being a Dubliner I'm so proud 🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪💚💚💚🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪

The best part of my year was watching them open for the artic monkyes last month in Sacramento. This band is keeping punk rock alive!!

Those rotating camera shots with the flashing lights is fantastic.

Got to see them open for AM in Seattle and Portland and absolutely loved it. This is the perfect song to close with but I almost wish they played it earlier in the set because people get so into and I think people who aren't necessarily fans realize how good they are with this song alone.

It has been 45 days since I last watched Fontaines DC at LA opening up for Arctic Monkeys. I cannot stop thinking about how I saw this song live. Please come back to LA.

Saw them in Melbourne a year ago, gig was originally scheduled for 2020 in a small pub venue that holds about 500 people. Kept getting rescheduled but eventually it happened. Obviously they blew up since then but rhey honoured the original gig and played it while also selling out a 2k seater venue the following night. So amazing to see them in such a small venue as i know it wont happen again.
