I just posted my Fontanini Nativity. Yours is INCREDIBLE!!! Those sheep! They’re always getting up to something! 😆 I love all your buildings! I separated some of my figures out to give to my son and his wife this year. I gave them the vintage Holy Family (I have a more modern version) along with some other vintage pieces. I am going to add your link to my video.
Hi...I was brought here by Geri at A Happy Hoarder. You have a stunning Nativity display! It must give you a great joy to put these lovely pieces together to recreate story of The Lord's birth. I have 2 vintage Nativity sets made out of chalkware. One large and one medium. Also made in Italy that I display during the holiday season. It's wonderful that you change the figures to reflect what is in the Bible regarding Mary and Joseph's journey into Bethlehem. Very well done. Thanks for sharing and have a Merry Christmas!
The most beautiful story ever told! How amazing it is that you can bring life your figurines and really told us the history of Christmas through them.Congratulations
Very nice. I started my collection in 1981 (when they only cost $5.00 each!). Over the years my set grew to over 300 people and animals plus the buildings and scenery. I cheated a little by buying some animals from my local zoo gift shop so Malachi would be walking 2 cheetahs on a leash and some people would have pet monkeys and birds. A few years ago, I donated the entire set to my church so the school kids could enjoy them but I still have my 7.5" set.
Really like your nativity. I think it's great how you walked us through the scene. Like the idea of moving Mary and Joseph closer each day! Hope you post a video of this years nativity!
wow its great so much on youtube is treees trees trees and no mention of what it should be all about. here in the uk christmas appears in the shops in september just after the children go back to school after the summer holidays. then 2 days after christmas it is all about the sales . xx
Hi, I’m from India. I too love setting up a Nativity scene every Christmas. But it’s no where as elaborate as yours. The quality of the figures / characters we get in India is not as good- do you buy them online ? Thnks, Wish you a blessed 2022✨✨✨
What a beautiful and impressive collection! I just started mine and your collecion size is definitely a goal. Just out of curiosity, how much would you estimate you spent on the figures/buildings over the years?
Fontanini has an official store (House of Fontanini) but some figures are retired so you have to buy them elsewhere (religious item stores, ebay, etc.)
You probably dont give a shit but if you are stoned like me during the covid times then you can stream all the new movies and series on InstaFlixxer. Have been watching with my brother for the last few months xD
