I wanted to like your comment. But it was at 665 likes and I would’ve been a number I don’t want to be associated with. Like Kenny powers, I don’t f*ck with the devil.
I love this one because it doesn’t change too much of the original pitch or sound of the song. It just sounds like it’s being performed slower with some some grain. Love it
@@Doug8D3 last one?! You had enough energy left in the bag to end on Everlong? Fairplay bud! I always ATTEMPTED it about half way, warm enough but still plenty left in the tank. It was the pace of the 16s that always threw me off over anything else. Hope you're still rocking
The Color and The Shape, the album Everlong is from, came out in like 1997. That’s pretty damn old. Not saying the song isn’t good, though it is pretty overrated and I do think songs like Rope and just the entirety of Wasting Light are better. But it’s definitely not modern.
@@Zorro7269 I wouldn’t say it’s overrated, I’d say it’s more that things like tiktok ruined the song as they do with most good but relatively unrecognized songs
@@andytsung9442 because the song is great just the way it is and because it’s sort of becoming a trend to slow down songs. Because of that it’s like why do you need to alter a song that’s already good. Is it so teenagers now a day can listen to it instead of it’s original form?
This almost made me cry. I grew up with this song, and this made me realize how much I love it. This was slowed down absolutely perfectly, this made my day. 💙
It's been so long since I listened to the original and hearing this all over tik tok now the original sounds really fast which is actually really impressive. Made me realize I took this song for granted back in the day because there was so much good music then. Kinda neat watching the next generation love the music I grew up on.
You’re so FUCKING right, bro… and it’s not just our own things it’s the world entirely, nothing is really how it once used to be, maybe closely, but not entirely.
What's really weird is this song came out when I was in high school and as time goes on, time really does seem like it has sped up. The way this song sounds here is actually more how I remember it. When I listen to the regular studio version it sounds way too fast.
What a beautiful and original version! It seems sang from above, soace-like armosphere, with a passionate and engaging crescendo which captures you like in a dance.
The only slowed version I’ve heard, slowed to perfection is the perfect title. I love how it opens the song up and gives it room/space to let you hear the chord changes clearer and Taylors fill/rolls. Like it gives it a chance to breathe. Thank you for your effort I love it ❤
i love this song so much, been listening to it for years it reminds me of a girl i like now, and just those thoughts combined with how gorgeous this version sounds is just amazing tysm for making this!
all i can think of is sitting in the passenger seat of my boyfriends car driving at night in the rain with this exact version quietly playing whilst we sit in silence
This takes me back to a time when life wasn’t a dark crushing pit of despair and I still had my person. I miss them with everything I have in me and all I want is to hear them laugh one more time but I know that time in my life is over
