It's unfathomable that a man with so much raw energy can be gone just like that. Thank you, Taylor, for being the engine for the last great rock band for so many years. Make your way back home and learn to fly 😢
Well said! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-KlZFS6HR6P8.html - watching him sing is pretty emotional for me right now, impossible to replace
Thank God for HandiCam and cellphone videos. If not for them, many great spontaneous moments in rock would be lost to the sands of time. They are not always the best video or even audio, but sometimes they are like time travel.
this made me cry.. at the end when he brought out Nandie for her drum solo stuff, you can see Taylor and his son sitting at his drum kit smiling and talking, and taking it all in, so so sad... We all Miss Taylor The Hawk Hawkins...
Just love you guys,. Don't know how Daves gonna ever replace Taylor, ever! It just won't ever be the same. How does one replace such a free drum a GREAT Drummer, a great human being gone way too soon? My heart breaks when I watch his videos, my heart breaks for Dave! RIP:. Mr. Hawkins!!!!!
Hard to believe 7 months after this show, Taylor passed, I watch this over and over, a year on and I still bawl like a baby, ffs I am a 62 year old grandmother,I don't think my tears will ever dry over the loss of such a wondeful talented person - I like to think he is up in heaven doing his thing
This concert was so emotional for me. I lost my Dad in 2020, he knew how much I loved the Foos. I literally felt like Dave was singing right to me, tears were flowing!!
I'm in tears because Oliver Taylor Hawkins ascended to rock heaven on March 25th, 2022 - My condolences to all the bereaved of FF-FOO FIGHTERS and family
To all drummers who play with the Foo's, thanks for keeping Nandi's seat warm while she gets a little older and masters her craft. With Nandi and those like her, I feel excited for the future of rock and role. And to Taylor, you will never be forgotten.
Everlomng is the only song I ever failed playing at Expert in Rock Band... here she is, playing in front of ten of thousands, and absolutely nailing it. Goose bumps, smile, tears, name it... Respect
Damn-- I'm pushing thru this but other than Chris Cornel I have never felt this way.. Not even Elvis and I remember that day. Dave will be Dave and I feel FF will return in a different structure. Go Dave! you pulled us through a lot and I bet you will do it again RIP TH
RIP Taylor. Grateful for your music. Grateful for this band, and being the soundtrack of so many fond memories. Thankful to have seen this band many times! Music will carry us through
I'll admit I'm a bad fan right now but I came to hear one of the last performances to a great drummer, an iconic drummer that is available online and u can't fault me for coming to pay respects to a great man. *Teary eyed*
the same on Taylor watching her play is epic. Taylor's influence on her is obvious. RIP Taylor. I look forward to seeing more of this young lady playing rock n roll!
I get chills every time i see Dave Grohl do anything. He is the embodiment of Rock n Roll and Musicianship as well as just being one of the coolest human beings ever
FooFighters Already on next level..And Nandi Bushell puts FooFighters on another level..that was one of the few Devine moments of last year I enjoyed..GoNandi!!
My favorite part of this video is this young confident lady. The way she shreds the song perfectly. Look out Taylor H. She's is a phenom like you bud. It's going to be great to watch her career grow. I'm a fan.
Couldn't have said it better myself mate. She is amazing and flawless. Great to see young people listening to and playing "real" music with instruments. Not that rammed down our throats crap that Simon Cowell would have us listen to. She has a good taste in music and a very big future ahead. Helps to have contacts in the biz in high places.
The audio on this video is outstanding. What a great show. Thank you so much for capturing this show and one of the most fun moments in Rock&Roll in the last 18 months. Nandi slays the Foo Fighters!!! Can not stop smiling watching someone's dreams come true!!!
Yeah, and you can even hear the accuracy of the sound field when the camera turns briefly at times. One of my favorite renditions of Times Like These. So, meaningful after Covid lock downs.
When I saw them at the end of the last year for the first time I basically fell in love with whole band. Felt a real connection to not only music but the absolute heart and soul given to a performance in Sacramento. They were so god damn amazing live I wanted to see them again and again every year type of thing. Feel bad as there is really no replacing Taylor. You can get another drummer but he truly was a big part of foo fighters. Hope the band will find a way to continue in the future, Taylor would have wanted that.
It’s unbelievable to now think that this is the last time I’ve ever seen the Foos. Rest In Peace Taylor, your energy and smile will be missed but your music will carry on for generations.
love you Taylor ! i love the 27 min mark how Taylor starts playing the wrong song & realizes then gets the show going , such a pro! what a privilege to have seen him in geelong in march 2022.
Someone in the comments mentioned the fewer songs/longer jams were probably to save Dave’s voice. That’s a good point and probably true. The downside though is it was a hell of a lot more taxing on Taylor. I watched a recent McCartney show and one from Pearl Jam and there were probably a couple songs from each set where the drummer was really getting a workout. With Foos shows there’s only a couple songs where Taylor wasn’t. His body had to be feeling it. 😔 #RipTaylor
As a user of one of those wheelchair things I've avoided going to concerts as you're just never sure what view you're going to get, I've been to football/soccer games where the view is blocked by people standing so assumed concerts could be the same. I should, and will, give it a try one day but until I do videos like this are great to watch. Actually feels like I'm there. I've been youtube-ing foo fighters videos since the news about Taylor broke. Sad sad times, again, Rock in peace Taylor.
It's so cool to see upcoming talents like Nandi and Violet Grohl getting a chance to perform with the legend Dave Grohl and Foo Fighters at such a young age!!!!!!!!!!!!
Amazing to think that Dave was watching Soundgarden perform there in 2011. He was on the floor watching the late master Chris Cornell like a true worshipper of the art. Dave pays tribute to Chris in this sacred temple of music in 2019. Then among other epic performances here FF play this concert here with the late drum kit master, Taylor Hawkins. Rock and roll, kids. It has many twists and turns. RIP- Taylor
This was one of my favorite concerts I’ve attended especially in a post COVID world. It felt like the turning of the page for the world and in my personal life.
RIP Taylor for your great talent that you shared with us you will be missed by us, you were taken to early but I know you will find a band in heaven and when it thunders we will think of you.
RIP, Taylor. To the band, I can only relay that the music you have created and the lives you have touched serves as a meaningful counterbalance to undoubtedly indefatigueable grief and sorrow you feel today. Your fans have been irreversibly enriched by your music and energy. Shows like this serve as a testament to Taylor's legacy, to your collective legacy. We are all better, more full and complete humans having shared moments with the Foo Fighters. Thank you, and YNWA
Dave Grohl will be heartbroken he’s family he was lovely guy so young i am 71 Years old and I love there music I am a nana I cried the band won’t come back from this
Thanks Dave for giving her the amazing opportunity of a lifetime ♥️ as truck driver and coming home at 4am and try to get a bit while I am watching this video lights up my day 👍 🍻 🍻 great video 📹
Thankful 🙏I got to see them all play together in my hometown of L.A last year! RIP Taylor you gave us the best you had and we love the talent you shared with us!
I'm so sorry for the loss for you guys, Hope you continue with the band, your art as musisisions is something to keep sharing with the world!!! Thanks for what you give the world!!!!!!
Thank you Scott for this. I was there that night it was pure joy and magic. Was our first concert since everything shut down, we are locals and FF are our neighbors! They blew my heart wide open that night, and then Nandi closed the show! I will never forget it.
Glad you enjoyed it! I was there with my 2 sons and some friends, same thing first break out after Covid BS. We ran into Nandi in the parking lot and thanked her for an amazing job. I'll never forget that night. Also I have a multi-cam version of this night don't miss that! It's in my channel
Actually, she effing was on fire!!!! I love her to bits!!! Thank you Mr. Grohl!!! Can't stop watching these videos, must of seen all of them on the YT about 100 times and I just can't get enough of Nandi, Foos, the atmosphere in the Forum and this fucking song!!! As Dave said in his song dedicated to her, Nandi is the queen of Rock'n'Roll and she'll save the world with her song!!! To all the good people out there all over the world, I love you, be safe and listen to RNR and NANDI!!!!!!! Best of luck from Belgrade, Serbia!!!
I hear a cry in 'Times like these' There was an emotion in his voice..... So beautiful. And in the end of the song Grohl shouts 'LIVE!, LOVE, BREATH, ROCK!' Love to see them once.... They're not in The Netherlands this year and not at Rock Werchter. Have to be patient......
No the foo fighters are a generic mainstream rock band that are the lowest common denominator. Dave Grohl is the Michael Bay of Rock music. The foo fighters do not even compare to Led Zeppelin
@@LiveRockMusic Led Zeppelin are the greatest "Heavy Rock" Genre Band on the Planet Period. foo fighters are not even in the same league as Led Zeppelin
Any Foo Fighters show is always a Rock n Roll religious haj, but throw in the little force of nature at the end = one of the greatest moments in music, ever!
Set list (no time stamps, sorry) Times Like These The Pretender Learn to Fly No Son of Mine The Sky Is a Neighborhood Shame Shame Rope Breakout My Hero These Days Medicine at Midnight Walk You Should Be Dancing (Followed by band… intros) Somebody to Love (Queen cover) (Taylor on vocals, Dave on drums) All My Life Aurora Best of You Monkey Wrench Everlong (with Nandi Bushell on drums... stays for final bow through walk-off)
Dave Grohl will go down in history as the one who really lived through this... No disrespect to the previous one, but Dave's certainly had his share of unexpected losses, and my heart goes out to him,
Almost a million people here have died of Covid in the US. We can stream your music, get a deal and thank you Foo Fighters. You don't have a final beat until the clocks stop. I got that fixed Foo Fighters, it's in a Mandate from Tallahassee. It hasn't been alright for awhile. Don't bet against a mother
...💔Week Ago You Taylor let us ... after that very every day You're still singing Your Sunday Rain in my soul in my heart in my head ... Visualizing you... Feels your family and friends who don't get it how it possible.. Tragedy what never ends inside us... God Bless You All.😔😔😔
Absolutely heartbroken.. I can’t imagine..My love and prayers are with Taylor’s family…The Foos and everyone that adored Taylor on a personal level…I can’t imagine what Dave is going through after losing two best friends.. I am worried about Dave
what a great performance by all......these guys pour their souls out onstage. Taylor was a beast and Grohl is a madman......and both seem like great guys. So sad that TH was taken, but will never die in the hearts and minds of the fans.
still can't believe he's gone and nothing will ever be the same... I feel so sad, thinking about his family, the group, and all of us, the fans. flight high Taylor, so high that we won't ever forget you.
I wonder if any of the LA crowd actually understood and recognized what they were listening to at 11.50 mins into the concert. Totally awesome, Dutch prog rock band Focus. I am still completely blown away that Dave and the boys picked up on that
@@robdog0606 I saw Thijs van Leer and the remainders of the band live the last time in the summer of 2019. Jan Akkermans and him are no longer friends for a long time already. But the guy can still yodel I can tell you. Dave should give it a try, but those voice acrobatics are hard to copy...
Taylor, you're always in my heart. 💓🤗🥁🙏 Your smile, your spirit of music, your hard work on drums, never forgotten. Love the Foos so much. The performances are legendary. Thank you for all f..... Concerts in the world. What an adventure all the times. Thanks Dave, Pat, Chris, Rami and all the best singers for a magical night. Love and peace with all. 🙏♥️👏🎸🎤🥁🔥👑💓
a 2.5 hours concert! i've only seen a couple of bands live and on average they only play about an hour, maybe a bit more and that's it. and that's the headliner. wish i could see the foos and the other bands when they get to travel the world again
Im watching different live shows since tomorrow ill be seeing them live for te first time and im sooo excited, and something that had never happened to me just happened. The foos dont play the usual genre i listen to, im More of a folk - soft rock gal but i love them. I was watching the part when they play "Walk" and as soon as Dave said "i believe i waited long enough, where do i begin" i just bursted into tears, he Made me ugly cry. I think the talent behind representing the frustration and the want to start again and come out of the shades Is just so fricking emotioning.
I've been lucky to see them on various occasions from the start of the foo fighters till now Dave is a genius and I hope you get a chance you'll love it. James
@@jamessmith9859 You are definitely very lucky! I live in South America, so my favorite bands take many years to come here. I saw Dave and Foo Fighters in 2012 at Brazil Lollapalooza and they should come next year, but the tickets are really expensive. Thanks for the wishes!
Thanks for your reply.. How is it so many people from your area have a hard time getting bands to play there.. Back when I was touring we are Canadian so some places told us that bands avoided them to far off the tour route ..I have to laugh try a tour of Canada in the winter.. Anyway we hit these places in the US off the route people went crazy best time all small towns big city gigs suck .. Sorry to ramble have a great day.. James
Thanks for the upload the audio is great, I hope this video stays here for generations these guys are going to be absolute legends long after we're all dead and gone
