Foo Fighters is not depressive. Is not the perfect music to be depressed. It is the perfect music to come to terms with anything that caused grieve, that makes us feel small and powerless. It's the perfect music to remind us that is ok to not be ok. It's part of the human experience.

As masterfully produced as the Foo's are, they never eliminate the human imprint of their music. It's hard to put paws on, but it's observable. They are pure rock n' roll.

I lost the love of my life five months ago. We would've been married 44 years on June 14. There is a hole in my soul that can never be filled, but I listen to this song, my favorite Foo song, and sing (scream) along with Dave. Thank you Dave and Foo Fighters for your brilliance and musical genius ... all your music soothes my soul when almost nothing else can.

Dave Grohl has honestly had such an amazing career from being Nirvana's drummer to the lead guitarist and vocalist of the Foo Fighters to the drummer of Queens of the Stone Age and even being part of the legendary Tenacious D as their drummer as well. He's really had a hell of a run and still isn't done. Really gotta give him props, he did something right in the world.

This is kind of an independence anthem for each independent individual in this world. Put it on your soul. Or at least it should be listened.

My mother who passed away 11 years ago (I'm now 19) Loved Foo Fighters. She struggled with drugs and alcohol. But she was a beautiful woman. I couldn't have wish for a better mother. This was her favourite Foo Fighters song. Brings back memories. The good ones. Rest in peace Taylor Hawkings, my mother would've been devastated.
