I love that you make so many items that your family uses. I tried repeatedly to make apple butter and i just don't care for it. My son who moved out was only one who liked apple butter. I ended up cooking up 6 pounds of apples pealed and cored with 6 pounds of frozen strawberries and ended up with a strawberry apple butter that i really love. I been using the strawberry apple butter as a pancake syrup. I love it. I did not give any of it away since it is not a ball book recipe. I also only use half the sugar your suppose to because i found i like them better with less sugar. You got some wonderful things with your hauls. It has been hit or miss for me when i go. Luckily i chopped up a bunch of onions (froze them) when I got to many a few months back. I am now using some of those onions. I am always happy to get things because if i don't use it today i might need it a few months later. It has been great to be able to pull chopped frozen veggies out or even frozen garlic pucks from freezer. I had my potatoes (from food bank) walk way and it caused me anxiety because my youngest is out of school and i now have to make her breakfast and lunches along with dinners. My mother in law decided she did not care what i said and took 4 of my 3 pound bags i had been saving for summer meals. I was left with only 1 bag which i turned into mashed potatoes for little one. This week we had zero boxes or pantries open. I am hoping this week i can go to as many fresh food box give aways and try to stock up more potatoes. I worry about when the potatoes stop and we only have old grapes and ugly oranges in the boxes. I juice by hand the oranges and make my little one one orange juice. i call them ugly oranges because they look like they been through a war. But they make wonderful orange juice.

I think its fine. Make barbecue sauce out of the pepper jelly. I use jalapeño jelly when I make bbq sauce. I cook down regular coke, add mild salsa and jalapeño jelly and let it simmer until it thickens.
Don't really have a recipe. I wing it. Usually use 1 onion minced a few cans of coke salsa ketchup and jalapeño jelly. This formula won the rib off 1st prize 3 years in a row in the media category
