I volunteered at our local huge foodbank a few years ago. It was amazing how much stuff ended up in the trash because people weren’t coming to the food bank. If you need it please go get it!!
I went to food pantry last week. There was a boy about 15 there that had ridden a bicycle to get food. I told him to get as much as he wanted. We put all the food in my car and he rode his bike. It was funny because he lives a few streets over from me. This church gives food twice a month. I'm glad to help someone when I can. It only took me a few extra minutes and he was able to get a lot more food than carrying it on a bike.
@jackie What a good idea to help that kid and I think about the responsibility he must have in his life and I respect him and said a little prayer for him this morning even though I’m not that strong on prayer.
That was nice of you to help him out. I'm sure his family appreciated being able to have more food. Hopefully having that bit extra lets them put some money in the kid's school clothes budget or something.
Thank you for all of the time you spend on educating people regarding Resources/Food Bank's/Help. There's too many people/children/pets that are going hungry, really going without. It's a reality with so many & scary for a lot of people. I know we can't save the world but every little bit of Love helps. Examples :(Contributing foods/money/clothing ) "Pay the kindness forward". My niece have two sets of twins. She have two girls them are 3 Year old and her twins boys are 5 Year old. The girls looks a like but the boys not look like.she is taken care of them by herself. I help her when I can

Happy birthday to the boys!! I like to use carnation instant breakfast powder when I make smoothies in the chocolate flavor you can get a big canister of it! I personally get the sugar free which unfortunately only comes in individual packets! I then add frozen banana to it, peanut butter and cup of milk and blend it up!!

Omg okay I'm already in love just with the garlic I would dehydrate all but a few of them for powder😂😂😂 I use the holy mess out of it in sauces and casseroles. I also give it to my daughter.
Cut the top of the garlic off put extra virgin olive oil on it wrap it up in tinfoil bake it at 350 to 400 for 45 minutes take it out and check it let it completely cool squeeze out the roasted garlic and then you can mints that up put it in like a canning jar and add extra virgin olive oil and then you have you can use the oil for garlic toast or you can use the garlic and oil for cooking
Next time you get the large bread bowl….you could make Korean garlic bread. You do cube cuts 3/4 of the way through. Make up a garlic butter spread generously throughout. I mean slather it then, you put a mix of mozzarella and provolone shredded over it once warmed through until golden brown…..DELICIOUS 😍♥️🙏🏻
I kept meaning to tell you one of my besties had twins boy and girl. She decided when they were born to gi:ve them each their own both birthday. The boy was born first his birthday was celebrated day before birthday and girl day after her birthday and actuall birthday they each got a surprise gift. Nothing great but all had fun. I thought it was a lot of work but kids loved having own friends and special just their day. Because they were 9 and boys and girls had totally different wants it worked out. Just two cakes and both liked different flavors. Do yours like sharing their day
That's a great idea! I usually do 2 cakes and they each get to help make or pick out their own and we take turns signing to them! They don't mind sharing right now, but I'd be open to doing separate things as they get older and their interest change! They are very different from each other, so I'm sure it'll happen! Hello I enjoy your videos. Just a family of one I used to go to food banks. But I noticed there were things I didn't use or eat up quickly. Plus the ones I went to food items already boxed. Plus I get meals on wheels so I cook only on weekends if if i choose to. Also you say you're a family of six. Haven't seen the 4th child. The boys are twins...big difference in size. Not being negative just what I've noticed. Keep on doing what you do best for your family in these rising economic times.

A great pork chop recipe. Take a 9 by 13 baking dish and layer out your pork chops. On the side, mix a medium size carton of heavy whipping cream and a package of Lipton onion soup mix pour over the chops and bake on 350 until the liquid turns brown and bubbling about 30-40 minutes. The gravy is so good on garlic mashed and green beans or corn with it….DELICIOUS 😊❤️♥️
Have to watch over the cat with a collar on, they can get caught up on a barbwire fence or branch or anything really. Reason i say is because we had a dog on the farm that got his collar caught on a fence. He was ok but he probavly wouldnt have been if we hadnt went looking for him.
Yes thank you for that tip! She has a break away collar. So if she gets stuck and starts pulling, the collar will unsnap and break free. We go through some collars, let me tell you! But I'm happy our kitties are safe!

I’m making chili verde in the crockpot. Roommate brought home some cubed pork and I have a lot of green salsa. I love pork! Also have some canned apple pie filling he got. Going to make a cobbler with it.
Have you tried making toum? It's a garlic sauce. I found a recipe on Pinterest and tried making it. It turned out good, but just a tad too spicy for me. So I put it in ice cube trays and once frozen, I put in ziptop freezer bag. Later, I got the idea to take a toum cube and mix it w a stick of butter! I spread it on some rolls in muffin cups. I was so excited at how good the "garlic knots" tasted!!! Just an idea for you. I really enjoy watching your videos . Thank you for sharing your life with all of us. Happy Birthday to the twins!!! Just a heads up about your popcorn maker, the red cap on the top should come off when popping so it can vent, it's actually a measuring cap for the popcorn. I have a similar model and that's what my instructions say to do. Hope you find this helpful.

You can take small bulbs of garlic and put in honey . Let it set for a period of time, then during fall and winter eatba honey garlic to help during sick season. You may look it up for better information.
I saw Becky at Acre Homestead took a lot of garlic & put in good processor then used a smal scoop & froze each scoop (maybe couple tablespons each), then put into freezer bag then when she needed just put into her recipe

I wash the golden beets, cut in chunks, with sweet potatoes, peeled in chunks, drizzle with evoo and spices you like (I do Italian, or cinnamon, nutmeg). Roast. Sooo delicious

Chia seed puddings are great! So many different ways to make it and helps me with my digestion issues! Also, I love to cook pork chops in crockpot recipes. Comes out so tender!
Happy Birthday Conrad and Gideon! I would always overcook pork. I grew up when we were told pork has to be overdone to be safe. When i discovered it only needs to cook until it's 145° internal i ran out and bought an instant read thermometer. That did help but I really enjoy pork much more now that I've discovered brining. It truly makes a huge difference.
We don’t have true twins, but we have Irish twins. For 6 days each year they are the same age. Thankfully now that they are 18 and 19, it’s not such a dilemma! Happy birthday to your babies!🎉
I laugh when people are amazed at how I did it with 2 little ones so close in age. I cant imagine having a 2 or 3 year old that needs attention and a newborn! How do people do it!
i do a braised pork chop - seasoned and browned - a bit of veg or chicken broth, simmered with lid on - makes for a tender pork chop. i do like to zoi yogurt. i have a bit before bed with a spoonful of peanut better. i think the protein helps me sleep better. happy birthday, boys! what a wonderful birthday!

I remember thinking I would not survive my twins. Now they are 29 and I made it (even though my still drive me nuts lol). It goes so so fast - too fast so enjoy every minute. Happy birthday to your babies!!!

I just picked up a 1/2 of a jack fruit at the asian market. I'd never had it fresh before. Its really good, super sticky! Im lookng for a smoothie receipe to use it in.
It is a big weight when food is a concern. I wish I had found food pantries sooner than I did. My kids NEVER went hungry but I did because I fed them all they wanted first. We made more than qualified to get food stamps but not enough to pay bare minimum bills and buy food so did a lot of robbing Peter to feed Paul months. Now my kids are grown and we live on SSDI and I utilities food banks. We eat well and our bills are paid. No weight. (PS we still don't qualify for food assistance even on the limited income.
