Its not that straightforward but your theory makes sense, i mean naturally people on the Internet are "unserious" because of how social media works, and when people take the unserious and make it serious it leads to a lot of miscommunication. Some people also like the idea of "chaos" and so their idea of funny is to do random things for no reason at all but for "humor" which leads to miscommunication because its not like the people doing the chaos stuff would outright say it, then it would be predictable. Unfortunately there are people in the world that are rebellious in nature, and just "don't want others to be right" they have to be right. This is also proven by the Dunning Kruger effect. Either way, i see how youd be able to come up with that theory, but not everyone is peaceful and happy unfortunately, humor isnt always on everyones mind, especially while they're online ❤ Have a good day
Hmmm sometimes, i do know sarcasm doesn't translate well via text. And i often have to watch how i word things in texts to family and friends because they usually don't know when i am joking. But this theory of yours probably only accounts for like 20% of the comments as most people are just haters or shit posting. I love shit posting.
I don’t think you’re wrong but…. I think people are hateful when they misunderstand others humor. So then they are actually being cruel in return and a misunderstanding becomes blatant abuse.
We are to hate sin, not the sinner! The Bible says hate that which is evil! I hate lies! Not the person who tells them. I hate murder, rape, and ect The works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings. People are given over to their flesh! Do all things with love. Love conquers All!
It's not ap misunderstanding we all just have a different point of view or values. Our are you talking about comedy specifically? I don't know your channel or what you're about.
It’s a safe place for the passive of society to feel big and bad, it’s the same reason I don’t get mad at those on the road because 90% of all that stuff they do while “road raging” would never be done to you when it’s face to face. It’s a place for them to cope with them not being as tough as they would like to think they are. Whether that’s behind their car, the internet, or whatever job title they possess. It’s those areas of life you’ll see 90% of tough guys peacocking in, because it’s safe. As my father used to say if you wouldn’t say or do something to someone your in an enclosed space with, that has no cameras or witnesses then don’t do or say it to begin with.
