The market has reduced hours since March 2020. There are great vendors including some farmers. There is at least four cheese vendors. One meat vendor sells Halal meat. There is also some specialty vendors selling Jewish food, Mexican, Indian, Japanese and Portuguese.
Haven't been down there in years. Nice to see the old Birks clock prominently displayed. Looks like they have more places to sit and enjoy a beverage. Don't know if they validate parking.
I love the market! I live outside of Hamilton but make a special trip out that way just to shop there. Everyone who works there is really nice and you will always get high quality products, while directly supporting their sources. I highly recommend the artisan shop, Sam's Cheese and Meats, Lina's Pastries and Coffee, and Jepson's Fresh Meats (their steaks are amazing!)
Love Hamilton's Farmer's Market. Although that parking garage outside would be better put to converted and used as a multi-use skyscraper to generate tax revenue for the city.
