I realize after watching the Radford family for so long that everything works because Sue is extremely organized. The video when Sue called out on strike was very funny. Everything seemed to come to an abrupt stop. This is probably why women would make better leaders of any nation because the job would actually get done. It's a great feat what the two of them have managed to pull off and thank the lucky stars that they still have the energy to get it all done. Amazing!
New subscriber from the USA. Great video. You brought back childhood memories. In the 60s and at the age of 13 I had to buy $20 of groceries for one week for 4 people. 19 people. WOW. You're very patient.
Watch their family series 22 kids and counting . If you like their vlogs im sure you will enjoy their reality programme. My5 has all series ready to watch We are awaiting new series due 2025❤❤❤
Go watch Dougherty Dozen shopping videos. She is so personable. I don't always agree with what she buys, but boy does she buy a lot. Then a whole garage for a pantry. 5 refrigerator's and two freezers. She makes life fun for these children.
I'm glad you've got lots in because I've broken my wrist and won't be able to do any cooking. I'll just get my plate and join the end of the queue at the barbeque, you won't even know I'm there. 😍😍
So organized and none of the kids prefferences forgotten. All treated individually.Sue's mum has brought her up so well and Noel is such a dear chap too,a lovely Dad.Just imagine all the cooking and washing etc.Luckily by the time they are older the children will be grown up and independant and they will be able to relax. But thrn there are granchildren Would they like to relax, I doubt it. Lovely family
Love this I can really see you all living in a house with some land. You could grow your own vegetables and maybe have some fruit trees. The kids would love all that hope you don’t mind me saying. 🐓🐇🥰❤
@@alexf9901 you just have to watch one of Dougherty Dozen video's She plans the meals with her children, then makes out the grocery list. Once per week she makes international food. She starts breakfast, then makes 12 sandwiches, packs lunch with fun stuff. You'll get great ideas
Just share your life and what makes you happy to share. Doing these kind of videos does make you come out in the open , but only as much as you want . Dont let the trolls get to you , just have fun . Theres a delete button get rid of them please 😊
Jammies Dodgers, YUM!!! Even though I'm in thevUS, I try to always have some!!! 😍😍😍 That's quite a haul, but understandable, with so many in the house. Thanks for sharing! Continued love and health to all from across the pond!!! 💜💜💜
Wow, I could never 😂....I’m overwhelmed just watching this. I raised 2 kids with an 11 year age difference, and barely survived sanity and financially.
Hi Sue, that was some food haul. Plenty of meals there. Shame you couldn’t get all the milk you needed. Won’t take long for it all to be eaten, then start again. 😄
Fun to see your food haul ! For our big family I often make a delicious rice pilaf. Make a ton of rice... roast a pan of whatever veggies you have on hand (I do onions, carrots, broccoli on a sheet pan, drizzled with olive oil), then chop the veggies and add them to the rice along with a few handfuls of chopped fresh spinach. Drizzle with olive oil, season as you like it (we like a sprinkle of hot pepper), and (this is important!) stir in some crumbled feta cheese before serving. Top with sautéed walnuts or almonds if you have time! It's a healthy and tasty meal and stretches a LOOOONG way! I usually serve it with a fruit salad. I also often make it as a potluck party offering, and people scarf it down.
doesn't that drive you nuts when you order something, and you don't get enough.... and we are only a tiny family of 6. Love seeing these videos I think you're an amazing family God bless you all
Really miss watching you on a Sunday but know you can't be on the telly ALL the time 😂 love to see how you're all doing. Even my dad asks how Noel is getting on with his new bakery. I talk about you like I know you personally 😂😍 I am exactly them same with potatoes but still buy another bag the week after same with mushrooms 🙄
Hi Sue I have had 8childreni know that they are in their late thirties and early forties I remember when you went to the supermarket and the trolley was full to the top for 40pounds not any more ❤❤❤❤ to you and your family Julie
It’s very amazing that you remember all the things to order. You’re very good at organizing the items. It is helpful to see how your foods come packaged in the UK. Ice pops in USA are Lollie’s there. Most meats come in stirofoam trays, love that yours are in plastic smaller trays. Our meat packs don’t fit in the freezer since they are so large. Hope you can get more milk. The Nesquick packs, are they like Kit Kat bars? It’s not really nosey, it’s more interesting of what kind of things you fix for snacks & meals, we get great ideas from you.😘💖
The nesquick things are basically a cake sandwich that you keep in the fridge. Chocolate sponge with nesquick chocolate cream sandwiched in the middle. They do milkybar ones too. Mine love them but I can't afford to buy them all the time as they get eaten way too quickly 🙈
@@carolecavanaugh7209 I doubt its their job that day. quite often at our local Asda, you see the staff picking orders with multiple handsets (most I've seen one person with is 5) so that's them doing 5 peoples shopping at once. I would imagine the staff member chose to do the Radford's, only have to do that one order at that time and no one else's on top! 🤣
Why? We don't know whose order it is, just following the handset, it will say where to go and how many to put in which basket. In my shop we have 8 baskets on the trolley, they may not all be for the same person, so you just can't tell.
@@eleanor_uk I only know I have seen an Asda picker had 5 orders because on that specific day someone nearby asked the lady and she told her it was 5 different orders on her trolley. I very much doubted it would be that pickers only job for the day as mentioned here. Might be a big shop, but with handset telling picker where to go / how many, it probably takes an hour at best imo.
Yes, I will be throwing out another bag of potatoes that have sprouted😀I guess I feel better if I at least have them in the house. I love your nail polish!!!
Yes I was thinking that as well. I wonder if there's a bulk wholesaler for larger grocery packaging to save where your live? Cheaper for family purchasing budget and good for the planet.
Packaging in the UK drives me nuts - although most is recyclable. In my youth (I'm 65) veg from the greengrocers got wrapped in old newspapers then my mum used the papers as kindling for lighting the coal fire..!!
interesting what your allowed in lunch boxes compared to us. Those Nesquick bars would not be allowed s they contain chocolate. Crisps also a no as they are unhealthy. Our school lunch boxes are closely watched.
You're lucky that you can get all that delivered. In the states we have Insta cart that will shop for you and deliver, but I have never received an order that was correct. As a result I have to go out and get what I actually want. It's a bother when you're 73 years old.
Well you are lucky to get deliveries. Here in Italy where we live, no such thing. Ten miles to the supermarket . My husband is 80 and I am 76 ! Still a beautiful place to live though. Susan
I just never understood how some can afford to have such huge families. While married couples with 2-3 kids, both working (might even be academics), and they have a small house or own a medium flat. All while some people live in massive homes, 10-20 kids, one parent working and food shop for £5-6k a week. Plus none seem to come from money. How is it done?!
I am surprised at how small the packages of foods are. I have a small family, and our regular size containers are much larger. I am sure this is very inconvenient for a large family. Do they have bulk food stores in your country?
Ah thanks so much Sue for another vlog this week hun. It was v good too ❤ LOVED it. Would u be able to film a morning routine and an evening bedtime routine my love? I LOVE your travel vlogs but I also love the homely vlogs too. I know ya must be up the wall with the film crew so sorry for asking for more vlogs. It's just that they r sooooooooo good ❤❤❤❤❤❤ ps Phoebe and the mud castles 😊 she's such an ADORABLE character ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
watch you nowdays on my tv and saw this yesterday with my one eye sight.havn,t comented i long time but your still beautiful family with happy well bought up children and the weekly shop looks yummy and they well fed.it must be never ending.shopping,cleaning,washing,ect.excellent parants showing how parants should be.my real parants i never looked for nor met because when this mum told me when i was older on holiday in malta.guess i was shocked plus wiped it from my mind and excepted these parants from this very dyfunctional family that i grew up in which meant lot times i went hungry as a child plus this mum left us so many times and these siblings i grew up with ,were not in touch today because they do not get me plus how i feel.these parants are dead and today i can exspess how i feel.to many years i said nothing.but before this dad died,he asked if i wanted a dna test but i said no because i knew he was ill plus old ect .i put him before my self but also i was not botherd about truth anymore because i knew this mum told me the truth and i knew i wasn,t botherd because in my mind i thought these real parants didn,t love me anyway.im telling you because i know you understand and none of these siblings get me plus understand me plus they not real siblings anymore so guess it was right we all lost contact exspecially because they not me and growing up in this very dysfunctional family i always knew deep inside me that i didn,t belong ect.your children have the best parants plus best life.that i watch you on my tv.your such a very normal beautiful family .x😊
Love your Chanel ❤ me and my wife shop on Sainsbury's and have a nectar card we have already saved this year just over £33 towards Christmas in just 5 months imagine the savings you could save towards Christmas 🎄 with nectar cards you can use it in multiple stores xx
Have you tried fish finger pie I partly cook fish fingers layer fish fingers baked beans & mash in dish couple layers top with grated cheese it's lovely xx
Lots of things we also get although on a smaller scale lol you reminded me I need to get nesquick slices for my little oscar lol! I love a shopping haul lol! X
Wow!! Love how the kids have free-range on groceries. Here in NZ, groceries are so expensive that at the moment, I have to only buy the basics for my munchkins:(
Kids rarely remember fancy dinners each night as they grow up. I remember a story about a mother hyping up "make-up toast" where she'd toast bread for the young ones and made a little face with ketchup. The kids could then add vegetables to create a person with hair and lips etc. When they grew up they only remembered the fun and not the fact that it was the end of the month before payday
Always love watching these food haul blogs! I find it so interesting to see what you get for everyone for a week! Though it also makes me miss a lot of products from the UK 😭
If you asda first morning you get reduced meats and other things save a bit money that juice you bought you can get a big bottle for 250 a three litre one out Iceland
It's a pity that there isn't healthier bread/pasta/breakfast cereal/crisp options, some wholemeal/wholegrain breads&cereals/fruits/lentil snacks would be great, lots of overly processed foods 😔
Hi sue and noel what another great food haul what sort of food do you cook and do you cook from scratch as I need some food meal ideas and I am so glad to see you back on RU-vid take care xx
Great balanced shop!! You guys eat well & well deserved 👍 Have you been to Costco.. oh my gosh, you would be in your element in there & the quality is 👌🏻
Wow so many packets and plastics and boxes, try doing the fruit and veggie markets and possibly having kull ( whole or half the animal)might be better for meats. Especially for large family, and teaches the kids where the food comes from. Most families can’t afford this much processed food or don’t want it in their bodies. I would like to see a video of you trying another way of healthy eating.
Thanks for Sharing I've been subscribed in your Vlog more than a year, and recently I forgot to watch. Now I remember to visit your Channel again, I hope you add in your bucket list visiting my country Philippines 🇵🇭 and try to visit the grocery stores and compare the big difference of the price. So many foreign vlogger in our country. Just a suggestion, GOD Bless your Family ❤️🌹🙌
Did you guys close your bakery down? Just the bread and certain desserts that you typically see here at a bakery. Side note can you show everyone sitting at the table for dinner and what your table measurements are? I'm thinking I might have to custom make our table. When we host dinner it's normally 20 people at the table. But 8-10 people at our other dinning room at the table that currently only seats 8. So we need a bigger table. But I'm just nervous making it I think 🤔
