*Works great with **Fastly.Cool** , exactly as described. Love the fact that it can push, pull, or exchange air with the push of a button. The remote is a nice bonus too!*
You are a GOD send. I have been working on getting my food trailer for the past few months and have been overwhelmed with a lot of questions. There are other videos that are good but their design or type of truck was different. I was stuck on simple questions and found it hard to get clear directions from other sites. THANK YOU, THANK YOU. I have the motivation to get back into my trailer and finish the job!
Thank you for that Kelly appreciate the feedback, any questions that you have let me know and I'll make a video about it. Excuted for you to get your trailer up and running. Thanks for watching
I've watched all the electrical videos and for each thing you talk about it's awesome explanation. I think the only parts that are confusing me and people. Are simply where do these wires go from the panel and to each switch and outlets and such. I think a drawn diagram showing where all the wires go to and from. Would be super helpful! 👌 looking forward to the next video!
@@fbaltierrez Thanks so much ! I think with doing that and all your other videos. We would be good to go. I think. lol. I get confused with the wiring. Like how it even works. what goes where on the outlets and then biggest. How do we start from panel and go to outlets and switches. Thanks again for all your time and effort and replies. You rock brother !
@@fbaltierrez Thank you buddy. My food cart Ive spent all summer building and im doing the propane next and which will be quick. And im starting the electrical. From start to finish. So Im doing a 50 amp as i mentioned and so if you could help us know where we should start and explain how many outlets or things we can do on one breaker. how its wired from the panel to the outlets. And how you determine how many things we can put on one breaker. Should we use 15. 20. 30. or whatever they come in. How do we determine how big of a panel we buy. Breaker sizes. Personally i do have a Ac 110 roof top. But anyways I think that sums up my main questions. I think this would be huge for me and everyone else as well. ill be looking out for it. Cant thank you enough ! Having a super hard time getting a electrician out to do this for me.
In the switch on top, the power wire goes directly under the black wire, and do the neutrals get tied together, or does it hook to the other pole under the existing neutral?
That’s awesome ! What do I need and how do I install a outdoor power for an RV hookup outside of the house ? I know homeowners are renting out their driveways to RV owners who tour the US a new trend ! I also am thinking about buying a trailer and follow what u do and rent it out to people who can’t afford to buy a food trailer - I tow it to the spot they sell their food
Interesting never heard of the rental part but I could see that being a good supplement $$$$$. You mean like a 30 amp or 50 amp plug on the house correct?
Hey Frank, is there a minimum cfm that should be used on a hood system or is it based on the size of the hood? I have the chance to get a really good deal on a 10ft hood & need to know.
No idea. I buy mine as a kit comes together with hood, maybe if you check hoodmarts website it will show what they use on a 10 footer. That's a big hood
Mide el largo, el ancho y el alto de tu cocina en metros. Multiplica largo x ancho x alto = capacidad cúbica (m3). Multiplica la capacidad cúbica x 6 = potencia de extracción mínima (m3/h).
The 14-2 Romex wire I bought only had black copper and white wire so how do I hook up the switch with those colors and what amp breaker would I buy for the exhaust fan
That's all the wire you need. One comed from the power source to a black wire on switch. The other goes to the fan and the 2 whites get connected together and buried in the box. 14 gauge is 15 amps
Frank, Amazing video… I have my truck 80% done but need your expertise regarding my exhaust fan. My fan has the variable speed control mounted inside the unit. Can I leave that on and then wire in the same type of speed control in the truck so that I can control the speed as needed? Thank you in advance!
Thank you for the step by steps. Been using some of your info as i do my build solo as well. A hand here and there but mostly solo. My question is did your hood come with the safety switch? . I had my hood fabricated and i need the switch and the variable speed control. I can get the speed control from most anywhere but where did you source the switch??
@@fbaltierrez yeah i figured as much after i sent the message but hey you never know. Thank you I'm sure ill have a few more questions as i finally finish my truck in the next coming week or so.
Frank quick question. Did you install the lighting that goes underneath the hoodvent? The lights that shine down on the equipment. If so what do I tie them into? NAKS sent them loose as requested.
What's up man how are you doing? So I have a fiberglass roof top on my truck FedEx,do you have any idea on how to install my hood to it for it to stay strong?
Hello I have been watching your videos its been very helpful. I have a question about exhaust fan installation on a fiberglass roof with 1 inch raised ridges how do I make it flat so I can get a good waterproof seal
Hi Frank, I hope you can answer my question I am building a pizza truck and i need a type 2 hood but I am not sure what type of exhaust fan I need for a doble oven that burns 60,000 BTU. What would you recommend? Any link?
Hey Frank! Thanks for the great videos man. The ground wire thats hanging from the variable speed switch... does that need to get tied in as well? Does the exhaust fan itself have a ground wire?
👍👍 please enlighten me on what else I can use with a low profile that fits behind a wall. From what I have seen entire houses at times are ran in only romex. So I'll wait for a better option on your next comment. :)
