This is outdated information. You can eat most foods. Good fats, olive, coconut and avocado oils are great for the gallbladder. So are animal fats as such in red meat, yum ribeye 🥩 Your body needs fat to produce bile for the gallbladder to prevent gallstones. If you already have gallstones start taking a stone crusher. It will take months to a year or two depending on how many you have, how large or small the stones are to possibly remove them along with a gallbladder flush every now and then but atleast you'll still be able to keep your gallbladder. Don't let a doctor tell you, you don't need your gallbladder. All organs are there for a reason.
Gall bladder concentrates bile and bile helps in fat digestion. A stone passed down into the CBD can lead to pancreatitis which can be very serious. (you don't mess with the pancreas). The gold standard treatment worldwide for Gallstones is the removal of the gall bladder. However, we would love to read some research on "stone crusher" please do share some scientific study links Get in touch with us for any concerns.
True, our body needs fats to produce bile to dissolve fats. But the question is why does the bile harden to form gallstones in the first place. Dr. Berg explains this on his RU-vid videos. Thing is, it’s more complex than how it appears. There are a lot of factors involved.
@@boyoorm.7966 due to lack of fats in the diet and people who are on low fat diet or doing Intermittent fasting. So while doing this these people telling their bodies, Bile isnt needed as there is less food and it doesnt gets released and starts getting crystallized. Sad but true.
You have to do exactly the opposite. If you stop eating fat your bileducts will clog up and in the long run your gallbladder will have to be removed. You have to eat more fat and then the smaller stones will push through. Yes it can be painfull but you have to go through it to prevent worse.
Ignore those recommendations. To prevent gallbladder problems, continue eating healthy fats. This helps your gallbladder function properly and reduces the risk of bile sludge and stone formation.
My mother don't eat much of those foods and she have gallstones. She eats low fat foods, low fat yogurt, no red meat, just a little cheese, but she don't drink enough water, don't eat enough fiber foods and takes several medicines.
@StrawberrySoul77 I'm not sure that low-fat foods are the only or the mainly reason for gallstones. Because I saw many well fat-eating people with gallstones.
I actually can't eat anything except rice right now, everything else triggers an attack and my gallbladder hurts 100% of the time. getting it taken out ASAP. Any kind of fat or oil makes me so sick. Eat more than a few bites makes me sick.
Hey I’m going through the same thing now and I know you don’t know me but it would really help if you can give me advice on what you eat? Also hope your recovery is going well ❤️🩹
Some fats like saturated fats will produce more annoyances than for example extra virgin olive oil, which usually allows you a wide range of consumption. Also nuts are good of you don't exceed. Spicy food is usually an irritant for gallbladder of you have gallstones.
@@hexahealth i have so many questions on why doctors say to eat nuts with gallstones but everytime i do i have a gallstone attack now to see you have to avoid them im so glad i found this video
Find what are the things that can makes gallstones it is the cholesterol and lacking of bile. So you need extra bile salts to crush the gallstones or not making more GS. How can we have enough bile? By having good fats. If you dont eat for too much time the bile will not produce and you eat too much after too much fasting. Or you have chronic diarrea it will release to much bile so you will have a lacking of bile by having that. Eat moderate and eat fibers also eat on time. Too much is always bad
I had severe pain in Davao after eating lechon kawali. My first episode was 5 years ago. The second one was last December probably triggered by the delicious coffee I drank. All along I thought I just had hyperacidity. Ultrasound revealed I had gallstone, whose symptoms could be mistaken for hyperacidity. Unless you change your diet, those small stones could grow to bigger ones.

After gallbladder removal surgery, it usually takes the body some time to adjust, ranging from six weeks to six months. During this period, the liver compensates for the gallbladder's absence by producing more concentrated bile to aid in digestion. In the first 2-3 weeks following surgery, it's advisable to limit fat intake and avoid visible animal fats such as ghee, milk, and cheese. This dietary adjustment is generally recommended for the subsequent six months. After this initial period, most people can typically resume a normal diet. However, it remains important to maintain a balanced diet by regulating fluid and fibre intake for optimal digestion and overall health.
Thank you for sharing your experience. This is the reason we are trying to spread relevant information so that people understand surgeries more and give value to even the smallest of details.
These food does not cause the gallstone. Its the food you avoid when you already have one. Gallstone is caused by too little bile produced by your liver. Why? Because of many things, too much insulin, estrogen hormone, diabetes and so on
false--i drink coffee and i have gallstones and sludge and i am doing ok.I have had them for 11 yrs. My gallbladder is actually healthy and normal...it's mostly grease/fatty meats that is a killer for me. Then i have gallbladder attacks so far up to 3. But overall i used to eat way worse and was up in weight but i lost 30 lbs and feel better then ever. :)
Dont believe this video, you can eat butter and fats as long its healthy fat like omega 3 fats and dietary fats, you actually need it because its fat that stimulates gallbladder to release the bile that will digest the food you ate. If you dont eat or you fasted you increase the risk of forming gallstones because when you dont eat or when your stomach is empty, your gallbladder is not working and the bile inside of it gets thicken and eventually crystallised and turn into gallstone. What you need to do is lower your refined carb consumption and processed foods.
@@fayechamp4156 hi' i already had my GB removed by open surgery, i am fine eating dairy products but i dont overeat or it will upset my stomach and im gonna need to rush to the bathroom but aside from that i am fine with butter, but remember it's always different for every person. No, turmeric or haldi prevents the gallstones from dissolving and facilitates bile flow in the body. This can lead to severe health conditions associated with your liver, pancreas, bile ducts, and gallbladder.
health is not the same thing though, if you have gallstones it means you've developed them (in my case due to poor diet) and as a result certain things are off the menu unless you want unpleasant side effects
Hello, for individuals with gallstones or a history of gallbladder issues, it is often recommended to limit or avoid fat-rich food items in their diet. Dietary fat can stimulate the gallbladder to release bile, which can lead to discomfort or pain in those with sensitive gallbladders or gallstones. Dietary recommendations for gallstones can vary from person to person, and it's advisable for individuals with gallbladder issues to consult with a healthcare professional for personalised dietary guidance and to determine which foods are best for their specific condition.
