In my country, only the trilogy has been translated, so few people know the books and I have difficulty finding people to talk to about the books. I only saw some reviews from RU-vidrs but as I don't speak English I don't understand anything they say.

Plenty of people both on Twitter and Tumblr (especially if you want to see fan art), Reddit if you have a specific question and there is a Discord server where you can chat with other fans. Hard to get by without English though : /

It could be the Fool and his kind are intersex to various degrees. That’s the impression I got, although the author intentionally leaves it vague.

​@@southern-samuraiyeah I don't think think Beloved has the same exact biology as a human. It's stated when Fitz uses the Skill that he realizes that Beloved is not the same as a human, but he intentionally lets them have some privacy and secrets. So sex/gender for White Prophets is different than for humans. Which is a cool way to explore intersex/gender fluid themes in a medieval fantasy setting especially when these books were first written. It's interesting though that the villain in Fool's Fate seems to be entirely biologically female in a human sense, even though she's meant to be the same as Beloved in terms of "species". So maybe it's that as the body colour changes for White Prophets, they change genitalia or other secondary sex characteristics? Or maybe Beloved is special and it has to do with them being the real prophet and not a false one?

​@@southern-samuraiI love the journey Fitz makes from wanting to know for sure what gender the Fool "really" is and being unable to accept them not being entirely male or female (ie in Golden Fool), and being really defensively heterosexual - and then in Fool's Quest realising that Beloved really is gender fluid and that's a good thing, and realising that he loves them unconditionally, regardless of what gender they are.
