Any good turkey hunter knows that good and perfect opportunities for a chance at harvesting a bird are most times few and far between. When you blow said opportunity it stings and stings bad. A sting that if you let it stay with you will indeed linger in the back of your mind for a season, maybe two. 😂

I have seen more turkeys in the opening 10 days this season than ever before because I’ve learned to be patient when needed and push forward when needed. I trust eventually it will land me a bird

I like to think of it like if it feels good do it and if it goes wrong haha. Turkeys are a beautiful and were finding out a much more complex bird than anyone knew among all birds so I'm quite a satisfied turkey hunter/admirer and I'm sure all you are too. I've been hunting turkeys 45 years in general and throughly love every moment I'm turkey hunting and trying too make people aware of their meaning and situation. Love it and you'll always be a turkey hunter all ya need is the turkey I never realized when I started hunting turkeys how long I would be so just think how long you could 😊.

I’ve learned by watching your videos that I’m TOO patient most of the time. The way you move on birds when they are so close blows my mind. Gonna be way more aggressive this year.

I have alot of respect for you Mr Owens. You're spring turkey hunting ( which is a wonderfully extreme challenge in itself), and you're trying to film it all and make good content. You have to play the hand you are dealt. The same tactic used for one bird will never work the same for another. It is the ones that outplay you that make the ones you take so much more enjoyable. There's never a loss, only MORE experience for the future. I believe that the birds taken on public land are the best trophy's.

You're one of the real ones, Dave. One of the best to ever do it. I'm loving my purple, grey, and blue ghost calls. I'm ready to get them out in April and hopefully get some decent turkey hunting footage myself. I always look to you, Shane, and Matt Dale for inspiration to do this, and man I get it from every single one of yall's videos. Don't ever stop doing this, man!
