Not just food service, but more distribution centers are creating their own shuttle division. I currently get paid $25 to haul trailers to a drop yard. Obviously you can get paid more touching cases, but I don’t want to work that hard.
Anybody know the usual shift hours for a Sysco Shuttle driver? It’s says over night but I’m curious as to what time the shift usually starts and how long?
Did shuttles for Mclane they somehow calculate how much they believe a shuttle is worth and that’s how much they pay you . They only had 2 senior drivers that made 300 each day 5 days a week
@@treyanthomas6079I'm trying to get into a PFG shuttle position. Got background check, drug test and physical and I'm good to go. It's 325 flat rate a day where I'm hopefully being hired. Average 8-10 hour days. 5 days a week.
I go out empty to the company get loaded with steel and head back to the main yard and go home a day driver comes in and delivers then i come in and repeat
You can make 70k - 90k as a shuttle driver, but you have to top out in pay, build your seniority, work 6 days a week and take most of the extra work that you are asked to do. 2 turns, backhauls and deliveries.
@@RLC876TV over here in Massachusetts they are paying 32.15 per hour. My friend is taking home 3995 biweekly after taxes. Regular deliveries guys are grossing 2700 to 3000 per week.
