I believe that story so much! Years ago, a writer named (the late) Ralph Wiley had written an article about trash-talking comebacks lines in sports. It was an entertaining article, and towards the end, he got to Jim Brown's line: "What you gonna do? Whup my ass?" So listening to this story really cracked me up because it reminded me so much of that article from years ago! An aside: Growing up in the 70's, I didn't even know he played football.
