There are people that say rugby is a girl sport and football is a tough sport. But if those NFL players play against rugby players with no gear to protect them, its done for the NFL players. League sure requires even more athleticism than union. But the attacking play is much less interesting. No passing, no combinations, no tactical kicks... And not being able to contest the ball also makes defending less exciting. What's the point of lying on the ballcarrier for 10 seconds every time then if they can't advance or turn over the ball anyway? I'd like to like league, but thus far I haven't been able to figure out why people like it.
