thats not true. ronaldos max vertical is just above 40 inches. Luka doncic, who is known to be one of the nba’s least athletic stars, has the same max vertical as ronaldo, above 40 inches. steph curry who is also one of the nba’s lowest jumpers, can jump right below 40. ronaldo is below average height in the nba too. the average height is 6’5. ronaldo is only 6’2, which is the height of a gaurd.
@@Annonymous2781There's no actual official record of his max vertical. All we can go off is headed goals, which means he would jump at just the right height to header the ball. That doesn't mean he couldn't jump higher freely. I've also seen him jump far higher from just heading the ball, or attempting to reach it. These will never be recorded cos they obv don't end up as goals. During the last WC against Ghana for example, he jumped for the ball and literally had his knee on the back of the opposing players shoulder. Had that ended up as a goal, it'd easily be his highest jump recorded. This was also at 37, and last year after turning 38, he jumped and headed the ball higher than the opposition's goalkeeper jumping with him with his arm extended out to try to get it. Mans a freak of nature...
@@cdknowledge yes, but in basketball, the ball is heavier and you have to lift it up. however, ronaldo could go for an alley oop, which would be similar to a header.
@@1Optimistix bro Just do you even know a team in the nba ? Beside the lakers and celtics If a someone has a vertical of 41.7 inches he can definitely go to the nba , and the normal vertical for an nba player is 28 inches So He Literally Would become a decent player if he was interested into this sport.
@@alnaimi7614 No he wouldn't. It would take him years to get to the level of a bench warmer. And he can't survive the NBA on vertical alone he needs way more than that. He is a great soccer/football player don't get me wrong. But the NBA isn't just something you can waltze into.
^'2 is pretty short in the NBA and I don't know why you'd say they were good from this short clip LMAO....But yeah I think top level athletes can at least be decent at any sport they put their heart in to. @@Suiiiijames
It wasnt from a commercial and u said “maybe” so its not true and how could you be sure ronaldo’s one was really true? Besides tell me what was messi sponsering in the video?
@@zionokungbowayou just need a above decent vertical to do that there are some people who are 5’2 Dunkin on a 8-9 foot my point 8 feet is tiny in terms of hoop sizes you need minimum 10 feet
honestly not suprised they are good at basketball. If your that good at a sport then you might have played other sports. What Im trying to say is that they maybe played more than sports than just football
Ronaldo can easily be an all star level guard.. 6'1 great hand and eye coordination, insane level of endurance, incredible strength, high IQ, 40 inch vert Messi has great potential as well.. he can be a steve nash like type of player but i think his height can limit him to some degree
