the premiere model of Footjoy is awesome... stiff yet very stable and comfortable but the set back is the shoelaces is a bit on the weak sides after a few holes i have to re tide it. I hope Footjoy can look into improving the laces..

Do you need a size smaller I tried them on the weekend and half size smaller didn’t seem enough 🤔

I did go down a half size smaller but that’s how I like my golf shoes fitting. A little more snug than loose.

How do they compare to the pro sls?

Hey David! So the PRO SL felt a little more snug on my feet. Great grip with the spineless look, but the reason I said I needed a bigger size in the PRO SL is due to the BOA clicker in the heel. I felt as though I needed more room in the shoe and my normal size felt smaller and rubbed up against the heel portion of the shoe too much. Both great stability, PRO SL more snug (which isn’t a bad thing depending on preference). Slim look as well from top view of your feet. Not as slim as the premiere in my opinion but still not a super wide shoe. Hope this helps!

Spikes? Hell Yes I wish with all my being that we could get metal spikes like back in the day before they were banned.

Thanks for your reach out! Yes they are very comfortable shoes in my opinion. I have had a few models of adidas, Nike, and Footjoy and I would say these are currently the most comfortable shoes I have!
