Practically, they can dance. The thing is that in front of adults with no alcohol. Also they can dance alone in their houses. The thing is that they dont do parties.
Lydia Talo I really wished i could dance like this my dream in future is to try and learn the full dance to this video OMG I love this film so much 😄😄😄
when I was about nine I learned this full dance and performed it to my school. I'm almost 14 now and cant remember one part lol. hope you get to achieve your dream x
@@TMthe33rd I can imagine this being an AU where Andrew was born into another state and instead of being into jazz, he was more of a country boy and enjoyed dancing to country music and was free of Fletcher.
I think as far as remakes goes it did the original justice yes it will never beat the original but usually remakes are blindingly horrible this was a great "update" to a classic which is rare
sarah renshaw I thoroughly enjoy both movies for sure. I can sit through each movie entirely and be interested the whole time even though I’ve seen them soooo many times hahaha
I completely disagree I loved the original, the one & only footloose I’ve seen it so many times I know every single line the remake imo is awful that’s one movie that never should’ve been remade it’s a classic to me they tried to hard to emulate it & recreate those lines made famous by Kevin bacon & Lori singer & failed miserably I couldn’t even get halfway through before I turned it off it didn’t do original one justice at all
Don't get me wrong I love the first Footloose movie, but the dancing is soooo much better in this one. Wish I could dance like these people. I'd probably be dancing all the time if I could 😂😂😂😂
Honestly, my favorite part about this scene and most dance scenes in this movie is thst every genuinely seems to be having a good time. Like they're actually having fun dancing.
Jimmy Brandell He was actually supposed to be in the film but he declined the offer because he didn't like the role he was given- which was Ren's deadbeat dad.
It would also be best if Kevin Bacon is in a cameo role as a teacher or principal in the Bomont High School which Ren attends. They could have added some element of the musical wherein the Principal catches Ren dancing in the hallway. In that scene, inspired by the musical, Ren dances after classes wherein the principal (played by Kevin Bacon) calls him and tells him to stop because dancing is illegal in Bomont while Willard (played by Miles Teller) defends Ren, stating that he is new in town and he doesn't know much about the rules and the dancing ban. When Ren asks about the dancing ban, the principal leads him to a memorial in the hallway showing the teens killed in the car crash, stating they were students of the school. As the principal begins to tell the story, a female teacher (played by Lorie Singer, who portrayed Ariel in 1984), rushes to report to the principal about a fight between a bully and nerd in the school grounds, wherein the principal leaves Willard to tell the rest of the story while he deals with the incident.
Havent seen the movie, but for some reason all I can think about is this quote from Not Another Teen Movie: "It's funny, isn't it? You would never suspect that everyone at this school is a professional dancer."
You can tell that Kenny choreographs some of his own stuff because in a lot of his movies he does some of the same dance moves and I think that’s awesome.
rocknroller 77 yes & the acting sucked I couldn’t bring myself to watch until a few months ago & the only reason I tried to watch it cause I love the original & I like Dennis quaid but not even he couldn’t salvage it I didn’t even make it halfway through the movie before I changed the channel🤮😝
Totally inlove with this movie.....wen this movie was released it was my favorite movie now that i m watching it after a couple of years its still so interesting
I'm crazy 🤣 I do not have any sleep and I enter RU-vid and I finish dancing. I love all this vintage 😍😍💃🏽🕺🏽👯♀️👯♀️👯♀️👯♂️👯♂️👯♂️👯♂️👯♂️👯♂️👯♂️👯♂️👯♂️👯♂️👯♂️👯♂️💃🏽🕺🏽
Love this film but lack of continuity: 2:15 she's wearing Willie's hat (in background ) then right after Willie hands her his hat. Lol but I only noticed this recently bc my film class
I like the classic but this one too. This was for me was also awesome! Every movie is not perfect but i saw the effort they made into making the remake. You also know when making a remake of a classic that you already step on somebody's toes (pun intended).
What even more cooler this place at the movies right this started even people at movies were started dance and sing along. I go back to have this movie play again witness people dancing in a movie theatre.
I wish i could dance like this freely in the clubs or wherever nowadays.... If one were to dance this way in my school clubs people would make fun of you. It sucks cause this is true fun dancing!
