Pierre is always talking about why "tube type" tyres are the best option and why he prefers them over tubeless tyres. Last week on his way back from a meeting in Brits he had a flat rear tyre, let's see how he fixes the problem!

You should have split your old tube down the inside seem and cut out the valve, then wrapped it around your new tube.....amazing the extra protection it gives against future punctures 👌👌

Instead of the brick, i use a strap between side stand and front wheel.

or maybe just run tubeless tyres and not air down 🙂

I agree! If you mostly do tar and somewhat technical gravel, tubeless - without deflating - is the way to go, but... if you also do serious technical rocks and dunes, then - in my opinion - tubes are the only option. Then you just have to suck it up when you get a puncture in town. Adventure tires are exactly like Adventure bikes... there isn't one choice that is the best choice for ALL scenarios.

@@PierreBreytenb 100% - have run tubeless with minimal hassles on dirt and rocky trails over the past few years - BUT also always carry a 21" tube under the tail cover and tyre levers zip tied to the subframe - JIC my one cigarette tyre plug fix doesn't work - the 21" will work for front and rear to get you home enjoying the show 🙂
