@@efrengalvez13 Out the door with my trade in was 42, 400. I put down money to make it an even 40,000. My payments are 529 a mo. I also got the optional cold air intake and performance exhaust. It sounds awesome!
Great truck. Wish the interior and center cosole were as up to date and nice as the Rams. Also wish it had air suspension like Ram, but like Sierra's exterior.
At the moment the ram limited is the king of luxury pickup trucks, Ford is second and GMC third “In my opinion” based on exterior especially Interior because that’s we’re you’re going to be the whole time and if the interior isn’t good then you won’t be comfortable in your on truck
@@Javier03Li The interior of the Sierra really is a letdown, and to be honest, I dont think they’re gonna make the 2022 interior a whole lot better compared to the Ram or the Ford. I really hope they do though cause Im really looking forward to the 2022 model
@@JoseRodriguez-tx1qz same, If it had a full panoramic sunroof, renewed center console/bigger screen, and a better audio system with more speakers I would totally get it. Most trucks don’t have ventilated/cooled rear seats but if they added that to the Sierra i would buy it in a heart beat, especially because I live in a desert
You did a GREAT job with this review and rundown of all the features! I'm actually heading to the dealer tomorrow to hopefully BUY a 2021 Denali...I can't wait!
Good review. I bought a 2021 CarbonPro addition a week ago and for the most part I love it. A couple of points I wanted to make. 1) the power button on the panel is for the 110V outlet, not the wireless charger. 2) The sound system blew me away. It's really amazing. 3) My least favorite feature of the truck (besides not having a 12" screen but I knew that when buying it) is the windshield wiper function. I was surprised to find that it did not have rain-sensing wipers. The knob to turn-on/adjust the wipers is very small and not lit. Living in a rainy place (Seattle area), this has been a real pain especially after having the rain-sense feature in my last 3 vehicles over the past 15 years
You have no idea 😂 I have filmed 17 videos so far in the last 4 weeks I’ve been back on break! And I have 8 more queued that I filmed over the late summer! I have made it so I have 1 video a week until May when I’m back from next semester! But since I’ve filmed some super hot cars like the Bronco and F-150 and next week the C8 Corvette... I figured I’d give you guys a nice Christmas present 🎄 Thank you for the support Kay! My family and I are well! 😊 any prayer requests for you or yours?
Just got mine last week ordered in early February I was thinking with the shortage of chips that I'd SOL. But it came in, I added the performance cat-back exhaust, cold air intake and a console vault in addition to the long list it comes with. I only have 600 miles so far and MPG is running about 20.4. I've owned other Sierra in the past with the 6.2 and never had issues. Hoping to continue the trend. I have disagree a little with the desire to have a 12" screen, it gets to be much but I never use the HUD in this truck or my wife's Acadia. Hope everyone is enjoying their truck.
I just think for the price it should either have a 12" screen or be less expensive. Because the competitors offer more in the technology department for either the same or slightly less $$. But I love the truck other than that! I have a 6" screen in my Tacoma and I this it's fine, I don't need a larger one.
The switch with the cord and plug symbol is not for wireless charging. It turns the power off/ on for the 110volt outlets in the cab and the pickup box.
Good Review ! I was well would love to see the screen and interior better quality as well as full sunroof, if they come out with the upgrades I will stop looking at the Ford. Mate I am Sikh in religion, bless you for your faith in your religion and your prayer to people
Yeah I think even the 2015 interior was better styled and laid out than this, definitely should’ve gone bigger screen which they have confirmed they will in 2022.
Great review. Really informative and helpful since I am currently trying to decide between the Denali and the Dodge Ram rebel. As a fellow catholic I say, god bless.
I love when I get someone who’s looking for trucks but hasn’t decided because I have literally the entire catalog of trucks! For my money I’d go with an F-150 or Ram in a full-size. The GMC is very close for me, but I just reviewed a 2021 Platinum F-150 (that review will be out in late January) and that is by far the best luxury truck out there now. Just slightly inching the Ram out, but I still think this GMC is the best looking.
@@realvaquero1682 hello, I like the AT4 very much as well. The only real requirement would be the 6.2 not the 5.3 engine since the difference in useful power is significantly better in the 6.2. The only issue with the AT4 for me is GMC are very pricy. It is a tough decision. I’m still unsure which way I will go. Good luck with your search too.
Best looking truck on the road today no doubt about that but the interior lags way behind the RAM and Ford in that area....GM really has to pick up the game here IMO....I would have bought one of these last year but the lack of two tones int and even some colored stitching on the seats doors and dash makes the int kind of blahh...the lack of a center console shift and a steering wheel that is so thin it feels like that out of a 78 Ford...as far as the screen goes I'm ok with and gauge cluster is fine the rest like I said Blahhh...hope GM addresses this for 22 as I want one of these but not with this int no way!!....RAM and Ford are so far ahead on this it makes me wonder what GM is thinking not picking it up on the inside...if GM done that I'd say this truck would outsell the other two hands down IMO.
I have the 2014 model and beside the ac. Compresor problems. That they usually have. Is alll good. But in this one. They should have put the infotainment screen like the ram. I assure you. No competition in that. One.
Wonderful Job Thanks for the Bible verse he is faithful!!!!looking for a review on the 2022 Pacific Blue …. I just ordered one making sure I made the right choice!!
I agree with all the options! I do really love how this looks though, I think exterior visuals just beats out the ram a tiny bit. But I'd gladly take either.
I wonder how many open/close cycles that running board goes through before it breaks. Planned obsolescence + American engineering + Obesity epidemic = 1 year max?
I wonder the same about the F-150 Platinum I just reviewed! (Video won’t come out till late January/early Feb) but It opens every time you walk near the truck with the key! Which is sweet, but I imagine it’s THOUSANDS to replace and let’s say it breaks even 3 years down the line! You now own a $72,000 truck that’s out of warranty and the auto running boards don’t deploy! So you paid for this and now you gotta pay someone to remove the electronic ones which ain’t cheap, just to put on ones that don’t move which should’ve been on their in the first place.
It will be years before they fail. The sensors and switches will fail before the motors. Also depends on how good the electrical components are protected from the weather.
@@lilcourtny08 I actually just had a commentor on this video mention how he JUST purchased a 2021 GMC Sierra and it's already throwing major codes less than a week into ownership. Not to say that's every single one, but it can happen.
It’s so interesting to me how NOOOOOO ONE EVER MENTIONS HOW THE RAM SUCKS WITH POWER...!!! They always talk about the interior, I guess everyone can get a good look at that interior as it turtles off the line...! Jeez!!!
Just got an elevation a week or two ago. It’s a great medium level truck with a lot of options but fraction of the price. Would love to see you review an elevation edition!
Wow the Dr. Pepper? I'm honored you've commented on MY post! Haha but in all reality that's awesome! I see a lot of people talking about the Elevation, does it have leather and heated seats and stuff?
@@AlphaShark LOL. My elevation does not have leather, however it has heated steering wheel, heated seats, 5.3 V8, black wheels and trimming, and tow package. You can get them customized in a pretty broad range or options. You can even get the turbo 4 cylinder which is a 👎 for me but still.
Hi Iam from India, nice vedio, could you pls tell me the country n place where you drove the vehicle for the video awesome place, I would like to make a trip to the place.
I am mistaken! I believed it was fake wood and after some research. You are correct, the Denali wood is real wood. It doesn’t feel like it though 🤔 haha so it ends up being the fakest feeling real wood I’ve ever seen
So you think it's the best looking truck on the market today? That interior is in dire need of an update to compete with the F150 limited and Ram 1500 limited!
I’d say closer to a 2015 model, but I totally agree, it’s very dated mostly. Though it’s strange because it has some very new tech as well. It has so much potential! If it had the interior of the 2021 Yukon it might be the top! I have a review on that too.
@@AlphaShark You're right, it's closer to 2015. But I guess I was exaggerating. Ha ha Also, I was expecting the Denali trim to have a different or updated interior. Lol
Neither would I, but it’s a sweet truck! I can’t afford it. But I love reviewing them, we’ll both probably be able to scoop these up used in 4-5 years for $35k
Beautiful truck on the outside but the inside is dated and boring and certainly not luxury. I am disappointed they did not do a refresh on the inside, i am planning on buying in March , it was a toss up between the Sierra 1500 Denali and the F150 King Ranch. I will be going with the King Ranch as the interior of the Denali is a disappointment .
Oh yeah as of right now go with the F-150! I have a 2021 Platinum review coming out next week and it blows this out of the water. I hear they're updating the interiors for 2022 on these and the Silverados, but will it be enough?
Truck is outdated. Horrible performance specs for a 6.2L engine, small infotainment screen, analog dash, towing capacity is less than competitors, seats look cheap, and way too much plastic on the interior, especially on the door panels. Truck is nothing compared to the 2021 F-150 Limited.
Thanks for the advice 😊 sometimes I dress nice, sometimes I don’t. But that’s the thing I love about this side job, it doesn’t matter. And it shows people I’m just a normal guy. Also the only thing in my pocket is my wallet and phone (with a pop socket on it, not dip I see the confusion) 😂 it does appear quite bulky I will admit.
@@AlphaShark That answer to a totally rude and unnecessary comment, just proves what a quality person you are. Doug dumoro reviews million dollar cars in cargo shorts and a t-shirt. He has a million subscribers. Great review by a total gentleman. Excellent job and keep up the good work. This asshat should check out what Jay Leno wears everyday while reviewing 10,000,000 cars.
@@jasonmalone6983 I know about Jay leno. My point was, unless you're a slimy salesman, there is absolutely no reason to wear a suit and tie to review a vehicle. It means absolutely nothing what he is wearing. What matters is the amount of information and how he communicates that to the viewer. You don't have to dress according to how much a vehicle cost. He's reviewing a pickup truck not a mansion in Beverly Hills.
Oh no this whole truck would be terrible off-road! Just like the F-150 Platinum, Ram Limited & Silverado High Country. They’re all pavement princess luxury trucks. You can’t have good off-road capabilities and also expect luxury so it works vice versa. Haha I’d be scared to take any of those trucks on grass 😂 but Theres a huge market for these! A lot of retired guys in my area have these trucks because they do a little tiny bit of towing of boats and hauling and they like all the luxury features. But the good news is GMC, Ford, Ram & Chevy all make off road trucks too if that’s more your taste!
