Great method and seeds will start just when wet TP or paper towels are used, but the added secret is to cover them with saran/cling wrap to keep the moisture in !!!

7 seeds sprouted in your picture. Did the 8th one eventually sprout? Yoh can also sprouf them between two sheets of wet paper towels, no soil until you see white roots, then plant each seed in dirt. Just another way! God Bless!.

I do the paper towel method, no dirt to lemon seeds all the time. 100% rate. I have now a 6 feet tall lemon tree germinated from the seed. It works all the time. For Apples and Pears, put them in the fridge they take roots much faster

1 - i dry tomato seeds on paper not fussy then next season put in seed tray or pot cover with sand awater whalla Capsicum & alike you can leave the plant /or move into a corner when brown they will grow next year my Bro has 1 thats been producing for 4/5years

If your seeds are unusually slow to germinate, the addition of paper isn't going to make a difference. A seed will get all the moisture it needs in a decent seed starting mix. There is absolutely no reason to use paper towels or paper. Most mixes are peat based and will retain moisture much better than paper. Your seed falling down is nonsense. I feel these videos are more about views than good imformation. 100 percent success in gardening. Never the case. I encourage people to seek out much more practical and logical advice instead of hacks. Rusted gardener,for example.

From your comment you have never started seeds, to use for hydroponics. The paper towel in a plastic container. I use McDonald's big breakfast container . I add hydrogen peroxide to water at 1:3 solution.

Seeing people use paper towels drives me insane. At least you rightly used soil but no idea why you wasted a paper towel cause it did absolutely nothing. Get them in inserts or single pots also, pricking out is another ridiculous practice with peppers and toms.
