This show was streets ahead

now I understand why Chevy didnt want anything to do with this. This was a project for hungry people. Chevy is not hungry. He just works for a paycheck ever since the 90s. These guys are something else. You can see this in their projects. Dan Harmon, Danny, Alison, Donald, even Ken Jeong. They put up the work and put in the hours. Mad respect for everyone involved.

Is community having a resurgence, because I always felt it was a little ahead of it's time.

The chemistry between Alison and Danny is amazing. I love their friendship

Yvette’s actual voice makes her sound so much younger than it does in the show. Between her motherly presence and voice it’s really easy to forget she’s the same age as Joel McHale.

This Russo guy is really good at directing action. I hope he gets a chance to direct in bigger things like a movie or something

I wish they had interviewed Ludwig Göransson, cause he absolutely killed it with the western score on this episode. Probably an early sign he was going to kill it on the Mandalorian.

The Community prop room must have been a tremendous amount of hilarious references and crazy designs.

I NEVER REALISED - that the suits that the characters were given in the episode corresponded to the cards they gave in the voting out of Pierce. That just came to me hahahaha

I love this show so much and have formed such a strong connection with all the characters. I basically cried when Donald Glover left and the Troy and Abed end credit scenes were no more.

gosh. I'm rewatching Community since it's now on Netflix, and I just finished this ep. I miss miss missss this show and I'm just so excited to laugh at these episodes again!

I’ve watched this episode twice and it won’t be the last time. I also finished the whole show within a week I love it so much

Alison Brie giving a shout out, albeit a bit of a misnomer, to Knights of Badassdom is something I did not expect. Then I remember Danny Pudi kicks around 120 asses per minute in it and all becomes clear.

I loved this show so much when I was in college. Me and my roommates would watch every new episode every Thursday and it was some of the best memories I had. This show is very special to me, I miss those days so much. 😭

2 distinct episodes but with one premise. This is just like Infinity War and Endgame. Fun fact: the Russos brothers got picked up by Marvel because of this back-to-back impressive episodes.

WOW, the crew and cast put in insanely long hours! I'm so thankful to them. It really shows, and this love and dedication is probably why, in my opinion, it's the best comedy TV show ever.

I was trying to find the scene where Vicki (an incidental background character) suddenly screams “Vicki!!” and jumps out, charging into the line of fire dramatically. It was kinda funny when I saw it, but then when I thought about it later, it was so funny that it almost made a black hole inside my skull and crushed my brain into a singularity for two weeks randomly bursting into laughter because of it breaking my mind-computer. Like, she shouts, as a war cry, the only thing ‘you the viewer’ know about her as a background character; her first name. She doesn’t shout her FULL name, like the ‘Leroy Jenkins’ meme dude; she doesn’t shout a catch phrase or a call to arms; just... “Vicki!” It like she knows she’s a background character, and for lack of any other dialogue, she only has “Vicki!” and that’ll have to do cause it’s her big moment! Then the episode just kinda moves on after and no one comments on it. It just... breaks my brain how many layers of farcical, self aware, silliness is in this one tiny bit of writing.

Community, like Predator, is one of those things where the end product is so gorgeous but everyone in the cast and crew had to suffer to make it.

The Annie and Abed duo is an underrated favorite.

The Russo Brothers and Dan Harmon had such a phenomenal run and you can tell a lot of it carried over to Rick and Morty. As a whole, it was phenomenal. Even the seasons prior to Troy leaving 😭 the love this show has gotten, i bet my middle testacle that either a movie ir 7th season is being mad just because of the slack on Rick and Morty and Avengers movies.

Just watched this show for the first time in the last month or two. Kinda crazy how ahead of its time it was. 6 seasons and a movie!

That's crazy they didn't plan on doing star wars until filming was already going. It seemed so natural

The Sergio Leone style Spaghetti Western is their best homage in my opinion. It hits all the right notes. Even the faux Ennio Morricone music.

Wow, after watching this show again on Netflix, from a when I would watch it 10:00 in the morning during summer when I was in 6th grade, all of the jokes make more sense to me (cus I’m a young adult at this point) butI would watch it in secret because I didn’t think my parents would approve (they were really strict) but I wouldn’t watch it because it was fun to go behind my parents back, no... I really enjoyed this show and even though I didn’t get most of the jokes or what was really happening, it was one of the first shows I genuinely had a liken too. This is part of my childhood, and that’s just crazy to me. I’m glad it’s getting into the spotlight again. Love this show.
