For Anyone Who Is 29 Years Old 

Sick video! I'm 29 - no kids - no house - no marriage - no degree - a few marketable skills but no specialization - no professional goal - BUT - at the beginning of 2021 I quit alcohol, marijuana, cigarettes, pills, powder, adult content, video games, partying - at least I have that. The only thing left missing in my life is the career....!!

30 is like your 20s but with money.

Im 24, single, unemployed and just started University again. I feel old when i attend classes with 19yr olds. However I see growing old as a privilege and im excited to so what is in store. Idk what im doing with my life. I hope it all comes together in the end.

Great mindset. I've seen regrets of people in their 40s+ and they regret thinking turning 30 was old. They look back and see they were "babies".

My friend's and family make me feel bad about being single at 30. "Wow, you seem content about being single". I'm like wow, I didn't know I supposed to be a sad mess because I don't have a partner. Im not saying I'm closed off from dating and love but life doesn't have its guarantees. My last relationship ended just before the pandemic because I was the only one giving it 100%. I'm going to work hard and have as much fun as I can while being single. Y'all be fine.

I’m laughing so hard right now, because yeh, I’ve turn 29 in October, had a full on mental breakdown and a sleepless night because of a sudden realization that next year I’m saying bye-bye to my 20s and I haven’t achieved anything yet, BUT, yesterday I went to a doctor, because I wanted to get my some things tested, and the doctor was like nah, girl, you’re too young for something to be wrong with your health like that, come back when you’re 45 or something 😂💀 …didn’t like that doctor, but the way she treated me was like a school girl again…at that moment I kinda thought to myself that if I were older she’d treat me better lol

Hello Chanelle! I’m 29 as well! It’s true what you said that society makes it seem that we should have it all figured out specially when about to hit 30. I used to beat myself up for not having it all together. I think that there is no exact age in which we should have everything figured out because life is full of surprises. I just turned 29 last week! If getting a tattoo has been hanging around in the back of your head and you still haven't gotten it, omg. What are you doing. GO GET EM. But make sure you're gonna be proud of it for years to come 😁 deffo proud of mine cause I designed them myself, and yes THEY ARE AS COOL AS I THOUGHT IT'D MAKE ME FEEL. If you're also wondering about getting a style change, do it as well. What's the worst thing that could happen out of it. At least you've tried it out while you're young.

Dreading turning 29 in a month and a half and you put my mind at ease, subscribed!

I’m in my late 30s went back to uni to map a career change . Married no kids (by choice) . The shoulds never end. I got a full scholarship to study and my family and extended family said to me ‘what about kids?’ When will you have them? It’s getting too late? I sometimes wonder why can’t there be more reasons to celebrate diversity in how women choose to live. Why do I have to follow a linear path of career, marriage, kids ? I did things in my 20s and 30’s that were expected . I excelled in studies , found a job in an investment bank (that suffocated the life out of me) , bought a home , aspired to climb that corporate ladder, married and realised shit this is not what I want to do. Life is not linear nor is success. I quit that job and I’m learning to measure success with metrics that are meaningful to me. When you’re in a system for long it messes with your mind. You start measuring your success with what is the norm. It takes some unlearning and coming home to yourself. I’m still work in progress! I hope you had a good birthday. I remember turning 30 and thought geez I might wake up as a completely different person. Didn’t happen 😂

Hello Garcia. I'm actually looking forward to my 30s as a 28 year old guy. My 20s were horrible so far. I traveled very little as I stayed in my hometown and barely talked to women much less come out of my shell to express myself.

Due to my mental health I feel like I've wasted a whole lot of my life. I'll be 29 in January. I just recently got a job I'm actually happy at and genuinely feel as though I can keep and for the actual first time I'm living on my own and not with my parents and it honestly feels so surreal to me. I do wish I had been able to do this all years ago, but I'm happy I'm finally able to do it now. Not to mention, most people I've known do say all that your best life doesn't actually really happen until your 30s so maybe this is what they were talking about.

I'm 27 with a bachelor's In computer science and also a stock trader I've been around alot of money. I also have had my downs in life like my long term relationship that was toxic . At 27 I was deciding to stay with someone I didn't know would even work out on top of that I fostered her nieces because her sister was a drug addict . On top of that issue I was an immigrant in the daca program. The point is life will knock you down countless times. If I could write down my whole life I would. I turned 29 back in May and I can say that it’s the year where I don’t really have panic of turning 30 next year. I realized that when I lay back and just seize the day without anyone or anything pressuring you then you wouldn’t have to worry for such things. I think Buddha did some of his major transformation at age 29. Not that any of the years prior or after wasnt as significant. I am 29 now, a male, and not even upset about aging anymore. I had my "crisis" at 26 and felt like i went through existential revelations that an overwhelming sum of people dont often process until theyre in their 70s or so.
