Lianfang never showed any interest in Zhun, she didn't care about him or know how to look after him she only cared about manipulating the lord. Shiyi cared for her nephew but was despised and distrusted by every female in the house so was never given a chance to care for him- until Shiyi nearly died she was treated like an outsider.
