If he clearly saw you talking to the girl first and she likes you but not him and didn’t talk to him at all then I don’t see why you should stop talking to her, I mean if she was talking to him first and started talking to you then that’s effed up yeah stop talking to her
i would say you still talk and bring the flirting down a bit so basically if she likes you then she likes you yes your friend may like her but so do you and your important and the reason i say bring it down is with time you’ll figure out if she likes you or just likes being flirted with from both parties and if there’s some “competition” then i would just see your self out and say take care because if she’s not interested in your friend then she likes you for how you present yourself and you woundnt know if she only likes you cause you drop out early
I find Sohei really interesting, when you play as him you stop focusing on your opponent to start focusing more on yourself, your gameplay isn't to trade and punish your enemy anymore but to build up your souls, you don't use the most optimal punishes, you use the attacks that you're still missing to build up your big hit... Your WIN CONDITION is different from others, you don't win when you lower your enemy's HP to zero, you win when you get your finisher charged, and it doesn't really matter that much how much damage you output because of that While other characters would get a lot better/worse if you nerfed/buffed their damage, Sohei could do next to nothing with his combos and it would still be as good because you don't rely on them I like it, I hope to see more unique characters in the future, this really set up my expectations
Sohei still absolutely cares about the base damage in their kit for a lot of reasons. You’re incorrect in arguing that Sohei has a different win condition from other players. Sohei is the only character *with two realistic win conditions*. Sohei *can* win by lowering your HP, and this matters because that makes his Minigame a “meta-mindgame”. If Sohei did reasonable damage, there would actually be a whole upper level of mind games you could use against players assuming you need X or Y to achieve a specific win condition. If chain light did 9-12 rather than 6, Sohei stacking 400ms chain lights on left three times in a row as a way to cash in on this mindgame becomes pretty relevant. So the idea that Sohei doesn’t value base damage is wrong. Not only does he value it, it’s one of the primary parts of his kit that pushes it into functioning.
@@thebygoneking You're just giving me the reason as to why it doesn't matter, Sohei, doesn't do 9-12, with his light chain, he does 6, and doesn't care about it because his win condition is his souls, not his damage output. There are no mindgames, a Sohei player will never not go for the souls to "throw you off" if he knows how to play him, because getting them means he won and reducing your HP past 30-40 points is already an instakill. Sohei doesn't value base damage, and it's definitely not one of the primary parts of his kit.
@@jacksonville9642I agree. I said this yesterday. He doesn’t care about the damage. By the time you build all of your stacks, his win condition will deal enough damage to finish anyone off. His lights and heavies do so much less damage you’re just dragging the fight on at that point. Unless you’re just a god like player who’s trolling… he’s going to get out damaged and lose to people of similar skills. The only real mind game is having your opponent panic because you’ve gotten your max stacks.
@@jacksonville9642 Sohei does decent enough damage on parries and bash exchanges that damage is a viable strategy to take rounds. Lots of people are doing that with the character as it is in gamemodes like brawl and dom. Win your 1v1 via the decent punish game of the character, carry your six souls to the next fight, and then kill that player. *Every* character cares about damage, including Sohei. If Sohei gets his six souls without a GB, he’s already gonna have his opponent at pretty low HP as it is. Most competent players are more willing to eat the heavy than eat a GB against Sohei. It becomes relevant when the opponent is at lower HP.
@@Barjeng yeah every new hero has that ability or move that should make him "unique" but instead it just makes him crazy powerfull, and also i guess that ubisoft is doing it on purpose in order to encourage players to play him.
@@grzegorztalik1960chain lights that do 6 damage... chain heavies that do 20 damage total... telegraphed attacks because lights can't flow into heavies and vice versa without a reactable, blockable zone, idk... feels like the handicaps make him fair enough
The character is fun but by no means broken. Everyone else who says it is coping hard. The fact that the character has the same chain finish input. That can't be a light into heavy or heavy Into light. Makes the character very easy to Parry. And when you face the Character you can easily keep track of where they have charges and where they don't. For example, you only need one more charge and it's light. Very Fortunate for somebody who knows which direction it's going to be coming from and how to stop it.
Obviously people are just angry they can't unga buna it when they could realize that his whole gimmick makes him extremely predictable and eventually his low damage will be a detriment; it all depends on the mind games and how you play around them. At first glance, it does feel his execution does too much damage for how easy it is in theory to get the stacks, he might be fine with it dealing 75.
@@Relhio I'd say I'd be fine with that. But if they were to do that they would need to raise the damage The rest of his heavy and lights. I don't think that will happen though.Because that kind of takes away from him being a gimmick character in the first place. At that point he's just going to act like the rest of the Cast in the game.
Just wait till you are playing Dominion or breach and here you are 1v2 ing trying everything you have to win this fight.. only to get ganked by one of these abbominations, that just stacked souls somewhere else to one clapped you out of your whole fight.
For Honor plays ask for a unique hero, and constantly comain about every hero starting to blend together. Then when they get a new unique hero, they complain. No winning
Yeah and I don’t get it too, he’s pretty well balanced even if that move is ridiculous. The character literally tells you what he needs to win and his unblockables aren’t threatening at all
bro i know im gonna get flamed for this but in my opinion the handicaps sohei has make it a little more fair that he has that one goffy busted ahh move
To get the nuke off of a wall splat, you have to wait till the end of the recovery to confirm it, which has a really tight window and is not recommended to do. Also if you want to do damage instead of gain soul stacks, you can zone off of gb for good damage and mix up potential.
@@KxterHP duels I get, but literally anything else where you fight more than one person? yeah just pick anyone else other than him... I've been playing since 4:00 today in mostly dominion and I have a 25% win rate with the character
@@Tech_D3mon damn that’s rough I only use him in duals and ranked just a solid character in those game mode, breach trash but the fastest way to rep him up ig we’ll see
For sure, not once have I fought and lost to him without knowing I fucked up and let him fill up his weapons. How well you do on him is the most direct reflection of how well you fight him. I love it.
@@toastywrath2346For duels no, for team modes yes. He feeds basically normal revenge while dealing low damage, and he can't effectively get his souls unless he's in a 1v1 or uses his 4th feat. And without his souls he's just a mid character.
@Beanpolr 2 gaurd breaks is all it takes. I always get at least one. In 20 duels I pulled that shit off in most of them. Any character is bad if you are.
erm the correct pronunciation for the Japanese name is actually pronounced “so-hey” and not “so-hai” since the hiragana spelling would be そへい (Sohei) and not そはい (Sohai)☝️🤓
Don't let that fool you, you are almost never going to actually pull that off the anything other that duals and it's still might not work at the other person is competent enough to not let you do it
He's a get two guard breaks and automatically win even though you may have less skill stopper. Not a fan. 95 damage, full health with second tier feat, and 145 damage to win the game. Totally balanced and fair.
@@SharpieTXS Oh I didn't know he had bleed too, but the bleed randomly ramped to all mistys remaining health while misty was on the offensive. It was probably a bug linked to the disconnect.
I think he needs big changes.. I play duels most of the time and there he is annoying as hell. You basically cant parry him because there is like 70% chance that he will go for gb and if you fail 2x you just lose. You need hero that has strong offensive or you lose. For example i played lawbringer against sohei few times today and i cant win unless i parry his every light or he plays like shit. If he would get just buff he would be even bigger cancer than he is now.
Sohei is broken, it has to much HP to take all the time in the world to stack up the souls. Its 400ms is way to fast for the playstyle, the finisher is almost not dodgable unless you Dodge spam... Its just light spam, grab hero simulator.. and then when there usually is a whole fight left to fight you get 3/4 hp one clapped.. very "fun"
honestly i to some degree like the whole 'he uses the weapons he collects' idea but ultimately think it kinda is a not so great idea and that mayhaps he might need a proper rework away from that one shot concept tho tbf, the devs gave up all integrity at ubi's behest years ago anyways when they moved away from the old balancing around core gameplay mechanics and to making having cracked movesets full of op shit be the new 'balancing' strat not cause they cared about the noobs and shitters crying that they couldnt get a hit in cause they were shit at the game but instead because they realized they could market the newest most op hero at 25k steel while making you get 100 steel per fucking 15 minute match in order to force buying the new hero just to not get curbstomped until they nerf it into the ground and make the next new hero the most broken all while adhering to ubis dumbass DEI bull shit....
In my opinion you shouldn’t be able to get the 1 shot attack after a heavy parry, it makes you not want to throw any attack, or at least maybe make it so if you miss the bash you lose your souls
How about when an opposing player parries a weapon that has a soul, that soul is taken away. Then, Sohei will have to earn the soul back for that specific weapon. Thoughts?
@@BlueFireTempestVery interesting, gives the opponent some counterplay It'd prolly also be a good idea for him to slowly lose his souls while out of combat to help prevent him farming a fight and having a huge attack immediately ready on the next
