For honor seriously needs a jukebox function. I'm tired of beautiful music being given then taken. Same with the map modifications for certain events. I'd love to play tribute and death match on that heavily foggy version of treetop that was used in shadows of the hitokiri.
ikr and its all such an easy fix that could get people hyper invested in the game too, like imagine a new event comes out and its like "oh dope new permanant map varations and a new song we can switch to!" like please ubi just let the map vations be put in a permanant rotation with the others!
@@Delophantae_ just a joke m8. Back in season one it was joked about that 60% of for honors population was people from Dark Souls. Just let jokes be jokes.
True darkness, the demon for which Apollyon was named could never hold, for it knew not how to fear it, for that, he had his priests, but mortal men who had once feared the darkness, now openly embracing it. These were the Tainted Priests, the first Black Priors.
Free people buahaha there's no free people except for those living in caves. You are still breathing its because you took a side voluntarily or not doesn't matter. There's only 2 people on earth. The strong ones and the weaklings.
Also the same time I started playing my absolute favourite game. The nostalgia of me playing my rep 2 orochi in 1v1s and playing with my friend playing his centurion, eyeballing every execution, emote, effect. God I miss that time
The best is the music it had at launch, it may not have the same effect on you, but the nostalgia is something else, and it was so much simpler back then too
When I first started playing For Honor, this was the event that was going on and this is the music that was playing in the main menu. I had assumed that this was the default menu music and was sorely disappointed when it disappeared.
The moment the the season changed i was so dissapointed hearing the hitokiri theme instead of my knight theme. But the biggest dissapointment came when damage values changed the weapons into sponges...this killed for honor for me because fights were tooo long
I noticed that there's quite a lot of Latin (obviously, since it's for the Knights), but I also noticed that there's a bit that I could recognize, since I took a few years of Latin. 1:58: "omnium (sum?)" which usually just refers to everything or everyone 2:57: "tuba tremor" Alone, this just means 'the tuba tremors'. Now they could've also used 'tuba sonuit' which just means 'the tuba plays', but I just suppose it's just for exaggeration. 3:23: "...pluribus" this sounds very long and I might be totally wrong, but this just means 'all' or 'more', kinda like 'all for one' or something. Hopefully this helps any future translator, if they even want to bother finding most of where these lyrics come from.
I have been trying to understand anything more than what you found ( which I agree with) and the only thing I found is that at the start he probably says "Amen" (0:07)
I think it’s tuban tremor, because that’s part of an old latin quote from Virgil which went something like “antes tuban tremor..(something)” which was like “why should (something) sieze before the tuba sounds?
@@TheMajorN It could be more than likely, knowing how more proficient you are with Latin than I am (cases aren't my best thing really). The only real problem is really figuring out the whole context of the theme and where it comes from, unless Ubi is really exlcusive/creative and just decided to make a whole song in Latin without sharing the lyrics, and with our only clue being a possible reference to Virgilius.
I joined that season and I immediately fell in love with this theme. I also love the first theme, cuz it’s beautiful and transports me back to watching the story walkthrough on release
Like the music of a knight of a fallen order... which he is exactly. It sounds noble and epic, but dark... but also bright. Hopeful and strong, like an ongoing fight to death. A war to death. A story that will not end. The knights that return. The black priors... On their crusade for redemption
At least Prior's equipment makes sense for a battlefield warrior. No where on the battlefield will you find a tiny woman wielding an executioner's axe, nor will you find a haywire barbarian cultist with a sledgehammer. Did I forget to mention that neither of them are wearing armor, nor do they boast shields?
Remember: We have faced darkness; We have faced death; We have faced fire; We have faced beings and ideals that even our gods fear; We have suffered under the Warmonger long enough. Apollyon's ideology should have died with her, but now it shall die with the Horkos. We shall make sure of it.
This track felt so different than all the others like it was so much darker than season 10 to 12 and just stood out compared to the previous seasons while season 13 is just kind of its own thing now
Man... I wish I could go back in time just to play For Honor when Black Prior released... I was so excited to get into the game, and everyone I met were welcoming, I felt like a kid in a candy shop. Nowadays, For Honor is a shell of a once "great" game (it was good at the time for what it was) in comparison to what we have now. Such a shame, I spent some serious hours just listening to this amazing piece of soundtrack in the main menu. Rest in peace, For Honor. (Watch this becoming some sort of prophecy someday, after the game shuts down its servers for good)
misfortune comes uninvited it hungers for blood. the time to repent IS OVER I WILL TAKE UP ARMS AGAIN, STEP OUT OF THE SHADOWS AND TEACH THEM TRUE DARKNESS!!!!
0:01 sounds just like the beginning of Ashes on The Fire from attack on titan, or rather Ashes on The Fire sounds like this theme, since this came first
The music always scared the shit outta me like I was going on Xbox all calm until I accidentally had my mic turned up full volume & these good tunes be screaming
@@satan749 I think Jang Jun damage should be nerfed just a tad. Nuxia's light attack damage should be nerfed. Shaolin and Tiandi are fine. Although I would prefer more moves for the Tiandi.
@@devinespinoza9124 Very simple- it's a piece of music which is intended to be sung by someone. Usually with lyrics, rhythm, background music and all that other stuff. And although there is singing here, It's not considered a song, but a soundtrack or theme at best
