As Christians we are to be different from the world and dancing like the world isn't ok. We are to do things God's way or different. There's a way that seems right to people that will lead to destruction

@@tanya7360 Exactly! There's nothing at all ungodly about this sort of dancing. There are certainly types of dancing that wouldn't fit, but this one is very nice!

Sweetie whoever said that is lying. These gifts were given by God to use to glorify His Name! It’s the wickedness of man that took something that was supposed to be pure and bring God honour and turned it for evil. One thing to always remember that it’s not the action but the intention behind the action. If you’re going to dance and sing ask yourself “to whom do I want to bring glory to?” If it’s to glorify yourself then don’t but if it’s to bring honour to God go and do it wholeheartedly. Personally I use the Philippians 4:8 verse for certain things where I get stuck on and I’m not sure. That verse is like a guide on what we as Christians should do to bring glory to God

Dancing before the Lord and for the Lord is not prohibited. Obviously, there's a fine line, and I think we all know the type of dance that isn't honoring to the Lord and is a stumbling block to many. I'm thankful for groups like this that show the beauty in dancing in order to honor God and not be a stumbling block. God wants us to use our gifts to honor Him. 2 Samuel 6 14 And David, wearing a linen ephod, danced with all his might before the LORD, 15 while he and all the house of Israel brought up the ark of the LORD with shouting and the sounding of the ram’s horn. Psalm 149 1 Hallelujah! Psalm 30 11 You turned my mourning into dancing; You peeled off my sackcloth and clothed me with joy, 12 that my heart may sing Your praises and not be silent.
