This song really resonates with me on an emotional level, because I was very disappointed and frustrated with how high school ended. I was trying to find fullfillment with the acceptance of my peers. When I finally did get it, I felt empty and confused about what to do next, because I realized at how pointless it really is and I didn't know what to do with my life. So when I went to college, I decided to join a Christian community to help me grow spiritually. I have met some of the wisest, friendliest, loving, and accepting people that I have ever met in my entire life. Now I am the happiest and most satisfied I have ever been. I am so excited to see what the future looks like with my walk with the lord. If anyone is reading this and is currently going through a hard season in their life, just remember that it's meant to build your character and prepare you for what God wants you to do later in life. In the end IT IS WORTH IT!!

A few years ago around November my grandpa died. I don't process my emotions well and I just had to do something. I started cleaning and but on my playlist of Christian songs. This song played and it really help me get through it. It's been I think 2 years since then and anything time I hear this song it reminds me of him and that It's Not Over Yet. He was one of my favorite people in the world and I didn't know how I could handle him not being in my life. This song and the Lord have given me strength to keep on keeping on. Thank you.

Today when I was walking out of my school to get picked up, I saw all of the theatre kids going to rehearsal. I tried out for the musical a month ago, and just figured out I didn’t get in it at all, and neither did any of my friends. I was really looking forward to it, and the whole experienced sort of crushed me. I’ve been feeling worthless, and doubting myself ever since. When I saw those kids going to rehearsals I felt horrible, and thought about how I would give anything to be going with them. At that very moment, this song came through on my headphones and said “It’s time to put that in your past”. The whole song really spoke to my situation after that, and I just realized that I couldn’t let this define who I was, and that it’s time for me to move on. Isn’t God awesome?

I am struggling to keep my heart only for God. I dont want to be in the middle I dont want to be luke warm. For God says He will vomit from the mouth. And then add to that the thousands of blank spaces in scientific studies. Even some of the greatest scientists admit that there is a God. This world is just too miraculous to have been created without a brain behind it. I used to think just like you buddy. There's no God. It's all based on the things you can see. Thank you guys for this song. It has helped me so much. I was raped at 16 and got pregnant. I went through a rough time and I felt like I was worthless and didn't matter. I didn't know what to do now that I was going to have a child. I thought it would be better to give him up for adoption. But when I heard this song I knew that Its not over and I can do this and raise my son and give him a good life and do what I have to do to take care of him. I trusted God and knew he would take care of us. Now my son is 2 months and we are doing okay and we are trusting God through the hard times. So thank you for this song. I'm crying a bit rn... I randomly came across the spotify commentary for this whole album, and had it just on playing in the background while I rested and read a book. But suddenly the commentary for this one came on and I was startled. His little sister has Lyme disease?! And he wrote it for her! I have been struggling with Lyme for 4 years! In fact was feeling down today about it, exhausted. I search the song again and listen to the lyrics with a new perspective, regardless of the fact I have been listening to For King and Country for 7 years. This song now has a very personal and new meaning to me, and I am thankful for it. I started tearing up because so many times I feel like there is no hope, and this felt like God was using this song to speak to me.

Just for a word of advice, this song is great for anyone is struggling in life, work, school or anything along those lines. Just remember, God has a plan for your life so even though it seems like your finished its not over yet. Keep on fighting. God will make everything happens the way he has planned it. Just trust in God and don't stray from his path. Hope this helps someone :)

I love this song! It's the one I have to play when my parents start fighting with each other. They'll get into a huge argument then come down and yell at me, blaming me for everything. I hardly get any sleep. I'm pretty much up all night. Your music is just so inspiring. I'm not religious but I know you're a Christian band. I honestly kind of like the message of hope in Christian music.

It's Not Over Yet and Light it Up have both helped me so much. It's Not Over Yet gives me the strength to keep going, especially when I'm ready to give up. Light it Up reminds me that, even when it's feels like there's nothing but darkness, there's always light that can be found. Thank you for your music. It inspires me to keep living.

This song and this band in general they r awesome live I saw them at this convention called IYC and they were dancing and had so much percussion and like standing on the Drumset during set solos and stuff and the music was also very powerful and it was awesome

Thank you brothers for this song! I'm a prodigal who has returned after 17 years of darkness. I used to always throw up my hands and feel that I just wasn't able to win the fight. Jesus saw me in the darkness and pulled me out. He put on me the best robe and threw a feast for me because I returned to Him. Until the day we die it is a fight to keep the faith! The patriarchs of our faith made that quite clear. The last few days I have had this song ringing in my ears because I have hit my limit, too many times. Jesus is faithful and powerful! We may feel that we have lost the fight, but each day is new in Him. Thank you Jesus, and thank you my brothers for sharing this song from your heart :)

I get to meet them December 6th at their Christmas concert with Laura Daigle! My 2nd concert and I'm so into them and how much of a stronger connection they give me to God! I have the VIP pass and I'm SOOO excited!
