I just turned 14 last month and most teenagers in todays world are growing away from the lord but I am not this is the closest I have been to God in a while. I grew apart from God at the end of 2019 because 2 days before I turned 12 my Grandma passed away from cervical cancer. Then finally October of 2021 I heard "God Only Knows" with Dolly Parton and was just totally speechless. These men don't only sing they preach. I annoy my whole family because the only band I listen to is for KING & COUNTRY and nothing else. My grandma is my unsung hero and I wish I could sing this song for her.

My dad was drug addict and my mom had mental issues. I was put up for adoption by the state as a baby due to this and adopted and raised by my grandparents. My grandfather was my hero growing up and still is. Both my grandmother and grandfather were the best people I have ever known. They gave up everything to give me a good life. My Grandfather got cancer in 2010 when I was 11 and I saw the powerful hero I love become weak and eventually die due to how weak the cancer made him. I never even got to say goodbye, he had a stroke and never regained consciousness. My grandmother died in 2015 when I was 16 due to health complications. I miss both of them so much, but my grandfather the most. Rest in peace Grandpa and Grandma. I love you more than words can express. I'm the luckiest man in the world to have had parents as amazing as you.

My wife and I both came from broken homes filled with abuse, and addiction. On one hand, this song broke my heart. It is a beautiful, precious, painful reminder of what should have been, and I wept. On the other hand, my wife and I will celebrate our 25th, glorious year of marriage in August. I just baptized my 13 year old son, this past Sunday. There is joy in our home. Peace. By God's grace, and mercy, filled with His love, seeking obedience to His word we overcame the brokenness that should have destroyed us. God is good.

I just lost my mom due to covid a month ago, this reminds me of her. She had a heart for God and Jesus like no other, she had so many events thrown at her that she could've walked away but she held God's hand in the fire. She's in heaven now, I'm sad she isn't here with me anymore but she gets to see God face to face, no more pain or suffering. She was an unsung hero and I can't wait to hug her again soon. My father was a soldier in World War Two, drove a tank for 4 years of war and uncertainty. My mother worked at a local Air Force base during the war. They married in ‘46, raised us boys as best they knew how. Taught us to tie our shoes, to write, tell time and to share. Through the years they stood with us and walked with us. I’m in my 70’s now, good wife, 3 great children. My folks, the neighborhood, that life, have all gone. Yet I have those memories and experiences that I visit sometimes and remember.

This song deserves way more recognition. Parents are hardly ever thanked and praised.

I saw these guys in concert just a few months ago in Fort Wayne, IN. We had our tickets before COVID started, this concert was cancelled, I know, at least 3 times and rescheduled. Still almost every seat in the house was full !!! They are just as assum live as they are in their music video's...these wonderful musician's have, with their music, and Christian ways, really helped me get through the hardest trials of my life. Now 58 and handicapped, I am a reborn Christian, and the light at the end of the dark tunnel I was stuck in for soooo very long, just continues to shine brighter and brighter....love and prayers to you all !!! I was looking for some new Christmas music on you tube, I found Little Drummer Boy and as they say, the rest is history! I and loved it so much that I listened to all their music. I'm now in 10th grade, A couple months from 11th, I'm 16 and will be 17 in September, my worship team teacher is now 27 and will be 28 on July 31st, he's now engaged to a beautiful woman named Kaylee and will be tying the knot with her on December 15th this year, I've known him since we were 12 (turning 13) and 24, I'm so happy for him and his fiance and I still and will always consider him a big inspiration in my life because in the 5 years I've known him, he's done so many sweet things and I appreciate them all. I hope I meet a man like him some day.
