@@IrrealElbarto and we’ve had the understanding of colors and names of the colors for a lot longer than that but that specific color, I have no clue on how old it is I just know the liqueur
@@damianolsen6763 The liqueur is named after the Carthusian Order- the monks who make it. I was being a bit facetious, but since it seems you actually want an answer: not all names your culture gives to colors are as old as you might think. In fact, this language we are communicating in is not that old. It’s not 900 years old. It’s not even 600 years old. So the order of monks came first, then the liqueur, then much later, the color.
