That scania decker is one of my old band busses.... I built the interior. Was originally a shuttle bus for Siesta holidays. Good to see it hasn't been scrapped.
If you want my advice don't sell the R series From a business point of view it makes total sense to get rid but from a personal sense it will break your heart, whoever buys it no matter how good there intentions will not look after it the way you would want it looked after. Money is money but from personal experience keep her
Free up cash flow for a business is far more important than pride of a possession. And even Sandy goes on about “tools not toys” he can only drive 1 truck at a time unless he’s going to take someone on full time to run it sell it and free the cash up for other developments
@@sammyb99 I get that and you are right, from a business perspective it makes sense but from a emotional perspective it's a kick in the knackers. Why not be happy and poor 🤣🤣
Live in Ireland . 3rd Gen Bus man The whole family would kill me but I’m game if you want to see her work again . We do the smaller end of this kind of work , liven the dream lad 🇮🇪
Sell the XL personally if you’ve been offered silly money. You could settle the HP and have a sell of some other bit, at the end of the day it’s up to you of course. Good luck to you 👌👌
I think if its possible to work or lease the truck and trailer out to keep it in or sell it to someone you know then buy it back later on you have put a lot of money in to it. It is a lovely truck specially the Interior just hope who ever buys it looks after it as well as you did. It was great meeting you at truck fest Appreciate the time you took to talk.
Sell everything you said in video raise the cash plans come out of cash futures come out of dreams keep your dads old truck it’s the ornament project with family history and keep xl if you’ve a vision of what you want to do with your business go for it plus your yard will be huge space after everything is sold
The minis are junk. You have a few good things, the trucks, the van, the trailer, the bikes and maybe the tractor, the rest is mostly junk and scrap. But it's smart to try to get rid of it without paying a recycling company.
Jeepers your yard is like getting a nosey into a hoarders house ,some amount of stuff .Hope hope you get genuine callers a more space, plenty of £ & please keep your Daddy’s truck though .a.ok.xx
Get rid mate . You only need 1 unit on contract full maintenance monthly's and a monthly deal with a trailer company where you can swap and change when required . 👍 then its just a numbers game in and out 🏁
Sandy, have you given any thought to rent your first truck out . That way, you could get some more money coming in and you can keep it. It would also be out of the way.
Right i wpuld say sell everything but the 4 series as that is a family owned vehichle and has been in youre family for some years fix her up when you have the money but everything else has to go apart from the xl
The cars, mini one, worth sod all really as is, the cooper s's, probably shift to somebody who races them for spares easily enough, the trabant will sell as a project have a small but dedicated following, the telehandler, tell the customer needs moved within x no of days or starts daily storage fees, all the other bits and pieces a good idea to get rid of if can get as a job lots a lot less hassle, The van a good shout to get sell on, will sell fast and get good money for, tractor be easy enough to move on, bmw probably as well, sell trailer but keep the pins, since be handy if ever do need to do some timber work again. Truck wise, I think taking everything in, letting the XL go, try and get the 4 series into dry storage, keep the r series and have another general working truck that can pull as well as the XL but cost less, they are just tools in the grand scheme of things but you found and managed to get your old mans lorry back home, the R series is what started everything, and nothing can replace that, and i am sure that there are many hauliers if they could that first truck would be kept as the pride of the fleet
How much u want for the reg plates from the bus? Deffo interested, not sure how u go about removing it from a vehicle with no mot but our family have various WIA plates already.
See how the sale goes with the bits you aren't as tied to, then look to the r series for it's value. Have you ever considered getting a 2nd driver for it?
while i agree it looks like you need a clear out lol, but wouldn't it make more business sense to hire a driver and get the truck out on the road making money? at the very lease have a backup incise the new truck breaks
25k for that r450 I would snap the mans hand clean if I know it’s had some money spent on it, but I’ve seen some 2017 450 going though auction 500,000km around £8,000
Never had a complaint before always had keep feedback from everyone else, So if you genuinely have a problem get in contact please properly and email proof of this matter instead of coming on here and saying that
