Hey everyone! We're Eric Lagerstrom and Paula Findlay! We're professional triathletes; racing and training for a living.

Mt. Lemmon strava KOM atttempts are no new thing.. Lionel Sanders and Sam Long have been trading blows for the record for the past couple months. No woman has officially attempted it yet in 2020 though, and Paula and Heather (Jackson) decided they would go for it at the same time. This obviously has some major benefits for filming in addition to adding a competitive element to the mix.

Heather and Paula bring so much motivation for me to keep working towards my triathalon training. I hope you all realize the impact that you bring to me and others who watch you guys. I think the biggest thing is how much joy I see that you have for the sport. Eric, the visualization, music, and how you vlog brings the whole ambience and emotion behind it. Thanks so much for letting us know :) We've had our fair share of ups and downs and are constantly trying to think of fun stuff to stay engaged. For me, knowing it's helpful to share the process.. makes it worth doing things in the first place 👍

@@ThatTriathlonLife if I was in your shoes where your livelyhood depended on the results of your races (including sponsorships) and also when to anticipate when you'll race again...i feel as though I would be in a difficult mental space. I wish you all the best during this trying time. I appreciate the time you spend on the videos to show us your world!

One of the best videos I've watched from an athletic and artistic perspective. Congrats to Eric for amazing footage, editing, rendering, and sag support. Wattie was huge with encouragement and sag support. Paula is a beast on the bike, so inspiring... Congrats, Paula! Heather, you're my favorite, Girl! I'm a bit behind the last few weeks, just getting caught up now. Another awesome video. Fun seeing Paula & Heather do this but without the seriousness of strict training & prep. Mostly want to say (again) that I love you four together. Seems like a really fun and awesome dynamic and makes me feel like I'm there with you guys. Hope you figure out some time to do this again next offseason (hopefully in a more 'normal' offseason). Thanks!

This is awesome. Congratulations Paula. It was interesting to see you both on TT bikes. Lots of blogs say road bikes are better for climbing. You showed the best bike is an individual choice. I'd be interested to know your avg power for the ride. I've done ML twice (and hald) with a pb of 2.5 hours. It's exciting to see the world's best athletes tackle this.
