Finn and James are such great ambassadors for welfare and greyhounds, I've been very fortunate to stay at there home and them at mine.. Hard working honest people with hearts of gold.. Finn is a very talented lady too when it comes to horses and James with his humour and smiling face. Your a credit to our sport and most importantly you do great work for our retired racers. What a great video. So positive. I’ve got such happy memories of dog racing as a casual watcher and punter in my younger days, and it’s lovely to see the sheer devotion of those at the forefront of it shine through. Greyhound racing is a superb tradition, so well done to you and others like you for your hard work in not only promoting the sport but providing such care to the most placid and loving of dogs.

We grew up with our dad training and breeding greyhounds and like that video they where part of the family and so well looked after and loved going to see them racing. Video really emphasises how much greyhound trainers love there dogs and how much work they put into them, nice to see this side of it for people to see how well looked after they are.

Lovely to see what wonderful lives the greyhounds have and how well cared for they are.

Lovely video. I have a retired greyhound (he is only 18months old, I wish I could take early retirement!!) I got him from his owner/trainer who really cared well for him, I was looking to home a greyhound that wouldn't go for my neighbours cats, who liked long walks and a quiet life, a trainer put out the word for me and a couple of days later I picked up my lovely, gentle boy Max from a really nice man who lives a few miles away from me, Max was supposed to be a coursing dog, but wouldn't chase the hares. The neighbour's 3 cats take no notice of him other then glaring in the window the odd time and he pretty much ignores them too. Greyhound's make fantastic pets, anyone thinking of getting a dog should seriously consider one, I reckon they'd find a dog out there that would suit most types of home environments.

Really? I know firsthand out some Greyhonds were treated at racetracks in Florida. Thanking God they were shut down.
